Tiffani Thiessen (who has incidentally dropped the Amber) was born January 23, 1974.... You also have to love some of the other chicks added to the cast through the years… Kathleen Robertson, Lindsay Price, Vanessa Marcil, Hillary Swank, Emma Caulfield, Christine Elise, Rebecca Gayheart, Laura Leighton, Tembi Locke, Cari Shayne, Nicholle Tom... ...and even Jessica Alba showed up in a pair of episodes!

While it was great to see Vanessa in prime time, and even for 30 seconds on the big screen as Nicolas Cage's gf in The Rock, nothing will beat her as Brenda Barrett. GH was the shit in the mid '90s, with head writer Claire Labine and executive producer Wendy Riche... we might just need a soap thread...

Watched the 90210 skiing episode where Brandon and Keets (don't remember her first name) skied out of bounds, the chick hurt her knee and they holed up in a cave with a flask or Brandy and a chocolate bar. This was also the beginning of the Colin/Valerie relationship, both fresh off being dumped by Kelly and David.
But the interesting thing was the implication at the end of the show, that David had a threesome with two "snow bunnies" in Mammoth, to ease his depression of breaking up with Valerie...HAHAHAHA.....(cut to scene showing David saying "The More The Merrier" with his arms around two girls rubbing his leg in the lodge at the ski resort)!!! HAHA!

On the episode I was watching last night (a couple of episodes after Kelly and Brandon called off their wedding the day of) Noah, grieving over his father who had just commit suicide, and had been a neglectful parent leaving Noah full of angst and feelings of abandonment as a kid, took a Reggie Jackson autographed baseball gift from his father to a park, with a bat, and whacked the fucking thing out of sight. What a dick!
Earlier in the episode, Noah lamented about the fact that the father had given him the Jackson ball, while his brother got a Pete Rose ball.
What's Noah Hunter's beef with Mr. October? DICK!

I've been DVRing JAG of late, off of USA, and I am currently watching season 7... which appears to have given haven to unemployed 90210 stars... in the last episode I watched, Gabrielle Carteris played the widow of an accused Navy spy, and in the episode I am currently watching, Ian Zering is playing a Marine officer on trial for manslaughter. I'm having difficulty accepting him in this role.

Jonathan bought a portable TV to the bleachers the first game back after 9/11 so he could watch a first-run episode of JAG live. He was watching from his seat during the game.

I believe that was one of the straws on the camel's back that led Domi to punch him.

Domi's a guy who cant even respect the flag, why would someone ignoring a Yankee game and the ongoing ceremony surrounding 9/11 offend HIM?

I do remember that disturbing incident... although perhaps the entire section would be happier if he brought a TV to every game... maybe if would keep him occupied and QUIET.

Looking back at Tom's post, I think there is one factual mistake. I could be wrong, but I don't think it was the first game back from 9/11. It was a playoff game. Not sure what year, but I think it may have been 2003. Time really flies.
No wonder Domi slugged him.

Hey, idiot, it was the first game after 9/11. I remember these things. On top of that, its right there in my missive about that night in the Sheriffs Badge section, in the "First Game Back After 9/11" thread, a column that was written at the time. Here is the snippet.... More lunacy abounded, as Jonathon pulled a TV out of nowhere and started setting up shop. First off, this was a night people could not get a tuna fish sandwich, a purse, or even an ugly woman in due to heightened security, but he gets in a TV. Go figure...
Anyway, why does he have this TV? To see the tribute recanted? To see what else is going on in the league, or down at Ground Zero? No. He bought a TV to see.....THE SEASON PREMIERE OF JAG. I mean, Lord.
Gang Bang could not let this go, and immediatly began giving it to him, which prompted Jonathon's Mom to call him "jealous." "Yeah," Gang Bang snapped, "I'm jealous of a guy who brings a TV to a baseball game to watch JAG." And here is the direct link to the exact page. sherifftom.proboards86.com/index.cgi?board=archives&action=display&thread=1157566345 Balls, stop trying to call people out for being wrong unless you KNOW you are right. Dont speculate. You owe me an apology.

Man, the Soap Network just finished up 90210 and circled back to the first episode - I can't believe how cheesy some of these are. Gotta love the way they have Donna and Kelly using the word "dope" at least six times per episode.

Noticed a LOT of discrepancies between the early shows and what would later become the norm on later episodes.
The front of the Walsh house changed twice, drastically, in the first few episodes, while the inside remained the same.
Brandon was driving a beat up Gremlin in the first episode, and then suddenly his long time old clunker "Mondale" (which appears to be some sort of Gran Torino or similar car) showed up as his regular ride.
The actress who would later become Mrs. Teasley played a psychologist doing studies on the psychological differences between fraternal and identical twins.
The front of the Peach Pit in the early episodes is not the same as the front that they used for most of the series.
Donnas Mom, "Nancy" appeared in a West Beverly High Mother/Daughter Fashion Show with extremely short dark hair. Later on we would all come to know and loathe her overprotective mom "Felice" with the dirty-blonde hair.

Regarding the Walsh house, the bedrooms changed after the first few episodes, as well. Brandon and Brenda's bedrooms get bigger and lose the "midwestern" style.
In the first or second episode, Kelly has a different mom, but it was one appearance and then they established the Jackie Taylor character that recurred throughout the show pretty quickly.
In one of Dylan's first appearances, he tries to call his father in France, and then asks to speak to "Mrs. McKay." Later, we learn that Dylan's parents have been divorced since he was 6, and there is never any reference to his father remarrying or Dylan ever having a step-mother.

i always had a problem with the way they handled recovery....alot of them went through substance abuse issues, dylan, david and noah, but it looked like none of them could achieve sobriety and when they did fall off the wagon none of their friends would call them on their shit

Don't forget Brandon's flirt with alcoholism in the first season, resulting in the totalling of "Mondale," a night in jail and Dylan taking him to an AA meeting... but then he is magically cured an can drink socially in college...
... and Kelly, Colin and the cocaine... she was fine with no urges after a brief stint in rehab, and went on to drink socially. She didn't even need therapy when her rehab roommie, Tara, tried to kill them both to "stop their pain."
Donna was cured from her pain killer addiction after ODing and spending 1 hour in the hospital.

First of all, the glut of trivial information about 90210 is very disturbing to say the least…..especially from an old punk like Cho. Laura, I can expect it. Balls, ditto. But the rest of you scare me.
Having said that, allow me to add a small bit of minutia to the pile. The Walsh house exterior–which is actually in Pasadena (south, I think) - changed (if I recall correctly) after the home’s owners and neighbors complained about all the gawkers. Don't ask me why I remember that, but I do.

I was gonna add that, I have an old video somewhere of the song they performed....I also recall they did another number at the end of the episode, something akin to the Monster Mash or something topically commercial like that.....I'll try to find it an YouTube it.
Now 21Jumpstreet, on the other hand, was a secret guilty pleasure show for a while way back when.............

I missed the boat first time around on 21 Jump Street. Just started watching it with Dana, through the magic of DVD. Liked Season 1 well enough, and we're into season 2. So its a guilty pleasure of mine like now.

I retract my previously reported lack of consistency in the Peach Pit store front. They actually worked that change into the story...The Peach Pit moved at the end of the summer when Brandon bought his lemon Mustang.
Lucy Liu ("Courtney") actually replaced Brandon for the summer as the waitress at the new Peach Pit.
