Just wondering if anyone here enjoys this show as much as I do?
Hey, ch029448 some (people from where you used to live) were recently on---do you know The Cadell Family? That was a trip. Jinxie, a mom and creative businesswoman, who is tatooed from head to toe, trades places with an "evangelical" family from Carolina.
Highlights include Jinxie's husband Steve throwing a bible in trash can while trying to make a point to his temporary wife, as well as the Halloween party from hell. The stripper pole in the living room is a memorable feature.

Sorry ZOMBORY (what's up with people throwin' my last name around....is there no anonymity on the internet any more...hahahaha) I haven't had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of the Cadells of Corona. I haven't lived in Corona for some years now.
The only exposure I get to that show is when they make fun of it on the soup. The Dog Whisperer is more my speed.

What kind of user name is ch029448? Vhat da hell should I call you then? I didn't realize you are trying to keep a low profile here on the INTERNET. Still, there must be less people with my last name than yours. I edited your personal info out. Mo betta now?

Cho,
Glad to know there is another Soup watcher out there. I love that show. I DVR it and watch on Saturday mornings.
That show is epic.

I haven't seen Swap, but my wife loves Trading Spouses. Same premise. The one with the 'God Warrior' wife with the hippy family as seen repeatedly on Talk Soup.
That shit is wild stuff...

I'm just messin' with you Dolores, I don't care that you outted me!!! Actually Jay did it some time ago on this board.
"ch029448" was my student number at Cal State Fullerton...the "ch" part being my initials.
Should I revert back to some of the old standbys back from the Barflies.net, InleagueWithSatan message boards: "inleaguewithsatan", "sidwasinnocent" or good ole "chris"

Chicks. Man.
"That means it time for Chat Stew..... so meaty!"
By the Way, CSUF is for sucks. CSULB is for all-stars. Forty Niners all the way, baby. One thing I really miss is the Wednesdays after my physics lab: $2.00 draft Sam Adams in the Nugget and Sublime on stage.

Go Titans. We have Danny Glover, Kevin Costner, and Cedric Ceballos. Whatta you got - Jared Weaver!
How the fuck are you gonna have a Forty Niner in Long Beach...there was no Gold Rush in the LBC!
So you're a Long Beach guy? I'm assuming that you're familiar with Joe Josts?

"CSULB is for all-stars." Gawd, I went there for a semester or two. I did kick it in The Nugget now and then---I remember seeing TSOL there, but they were all wearing "big shirts" they bought at "Judy's".
Weird memory.

Recent sports alumni? Add Jason Giambi, Bobby Crosby, Steve Trachsel. How about Mark O'meara? Going back a ways? Try Dwight Stones, Jo Jo Starbuck, and don't forget Terry Metcalf and Mark Seay.
Remember the coaches too: Jerry Tarkanian and George Allen.
Others? Well, Chris Carter (X-Files creator), John Dykstra (movie FX guy), Bobby Hattfield (he was righteous, brother), Steve Martin (Wild and Crazy Guy - somewhat Mild and Lazy guy now), Dana Rohrabacher (funny member of congress and surfer), Dave Alvin (I wasn't that much into the Blasters) and of course: Karen AND Richard Carpenter.
OK, Chodad?!?!
By the way, I commuted to CSULB every night from my engineering job in Santa Monica. Went home after class, so I really didn't hang too much in the area. My brother, TheBadLt, lived in Pedro for a long time and he knows the area well. He would know Joe Josts. When I was around The Beach, I hung at Yankee Doodles (a buddy was a bartender there).

Cho, talk about coincidence.
The day I responded about Joe Josts, and how my brother TheBadLt hung there, my mom sent me an email with a pic of her new house attached. My brother was in the pic wearing a Joe Josts t-shirt.
