Sampled these two newfangled shows this weekend, figured I would combine them in one thread as I am guessing no one else watched them.
Human Weapon was pretty cool. This martial artist and ex-pigskinner go around the world sampling local fighting cultures, training in the art, and then taking on a master of said art. Watched one involving stickfighting from the Phillipines. It was a good watch, the training was intense, the fighting style pretty frenetic. This was one of those shows I DVRd on a whim, and could not turn off once I clicked play.
As to Kill Point, this is that show following a hostage situation in a bank robbery gone wrong. A group of Gulf War vets robbing the bank, and holding the ensemble cast of hostages. Watched the 2 hour pilot last night, DVRd episode 2 at the same time. I liked the show. Good action, I liked the characters, even that idiot John Leguizamo whom I never had any use for. There are some interesting twists and turns already. It all has the potential to blow up into something good, but it also has a chance to fall apart.

Was Kill Point like "Lost" in a bank?
