The Star Wars parody last night was the best Family Guy ever.

Funny you say that, I killed the recording in the middle when I realized what the episode was doing. I had set to record, but while watching the Giant/Redskin game back, we saw the commercial regarding a Star Wars parody. Considering I have not seen the original Star Wars since it debuted, and never saw any of the others, I was not interested in this sort of thing. So it will go unwatched in the Brown household. Glad you enjoyed it, though!

It wasn't the best episode ever, but it was pretty good.

I was great. I might actually be particulary good for you Tom, since you seem to not be a fan of Star Wars...probably because you find it pretty absurd and geeky. That was precisely what this episode pointed out. Good stuff.

My favorite part was when they were shooting at the tie fighters in the Falcon, and Peter was humming the music perfectly.

No, no, thats not it at all. To each their own, I dont begrudge anyone watching Star Wars. I dont watch many movies, period. And this one never particularly struck my fancy. So if I watch a parody of something I never saw myself, it goes over my head. So we chose to not do that.

The only Star Wars movie I ever saw was The Phantom Menace and I actually didn't hate it even though it was supposed to suck. I may have seen some of the older ones when I was a kid but I don't remember. And I am a total geek. I love Harry Potter, Heroes, Spiderman, etc. Star Wars parody has been done already. I'll just watch Space Balls.

Anyone see the episode where Joe, the cripple neighbor gets artificial legs?
There's one scene where Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble are sitting in the bar....Fred tells Barney: "Hey Barney, I've been meaning to tell you something. I was working around the house the other day and I kinda peeked in your window and Betty was undressing. The only thing was, when she saw me, she didn't stop. She just kept undressing. I didn't want to tell you because I thought you'd get mad, but she just kept undressing. I got an eROCKtion!"
MAN, that was funny.
