got a copy of the show spinning now....not the best audience boot, but listenable
the band sounds tight....jimmy page is still GOD.
sounds like they tuned the whole band down a step so Plant can hit some of those high notes he used to nail

There will obviously be a commercial DVD release on this one. I am not the biggest Zep fan but even a passing sort like myself would make a grab. What do you guys think of the persistent but oft-denied rumors of a tour?
I had read going in that they were going to do exactly that, Vin, in regards to downtune. They flatly acknowledged pretty much that they had to work with Plants current abilities on vox.

IMO, they will CERTAINLY tour. there is no way you can look at the demand from this show (20 million requests for 16,000 tickets) and not put a tour together. there was a blurb in the last Rolling Stone mag about prospects of a coming tour....they could do 50 stadiums, at and average of 60,000 fans per night at roughly $100 a ticket would gross nearly $300 million which is on par with the Rolling Stones or U2

Just read this during my morning perusal of blabbermouth.net
LED ZEPPELIN To Play New York's Madison Square Garden? - Dec. 12, 2007 According to NME.com, LED ZEPPELIN is rumored to be planning a three-night at New York's Madison Square Garden sometime in 2008.
The Sun reports that the bandmembers were overheard discussing the prospect after their performance at the O2 Arena in London on Monday (December 10).
A source quoted in the newspaper explains, "One of the guys [in the band] started talking about their three concerts at the Garden. There was a consensus of, 'Why not?'"
Net profits from LED ZEPPELIN's December 10 concert will go to the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, which provides scholarships for gifted children. Late Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun helped jump start the careers of various acts ranging from Ray Charles to Aretha Franklin.
Despite rumors, LED ZEPPELIN hasn't officially announced any additional shows. Guitarist Jimmy Page recently told Reuters, "Let's just do the O2 and we'll see what happens from there. I haven't got a crystal ball here and nor have you."

Actually, Plant signed on to do his act with Allison Krauss at Bonnaroo. And its way too smalltime for Zep.
ROBERT PLANT And ALISON KRAUSS To Perform At BONNAROO Festival - Dec. 11, 2007 According to Nashville's NBC affiliate WSMV-TV, LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant and bluegrass star Alison Krauss will perform at the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tennessee next June to promote their collaborative CD, "Raising Sand". In addition to the "Raising Sand" material, they'll perform songs from their catalogs — including LED ZEPPELIN's "When the Levee Breaks" and "Black Dog".
Plant has told Rolling Stone magazine that he plans to hit the road in early 2008 with Krauss.
A disc of tender, mostly acoustic duets, "Raising Sand" — which was produced by T Bone Burnett — debuted at No. 2 n The Billboard 200 chart in late October, becoming an unexpected hit.
"Raising Sand" includes versions of the EVERLY BROTHERS' "Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On)", TOM WAITS and KATHLEEN BRENNAN's "Trampled Rose" and "Please Read the Letter", first released on the 1998 PLANT/JIMMY PAGE album "Walking Into Clarksdale".
According to Billboard.com, Plant and Krauss first performed together in 2004 at a Leadbelly tribute at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, but it took several years before they found time to team up in the studio with Burnett in Nashville and Los Angeles.
Tennessean.com reported that Plant and Krauss taped an episode of "CMT Crossroads" in October at The Mill at Lebanon in Tennessee that will air at a later date.

the quality of the boot leaves a lot to be desired, so dont get all that excited
also, i heard that there were a few clips on youtube of a few songs and the were supposedly forced to be pulled due to "copyright infringment"
