They actually released that song, and yes, I have it on my MP3 player.

This is malarky. David St. Hubbins was in The Creatures before he met Nigel, not Lenny And The Squigtones. Plus, he lived in the Squatney district of London and not Milwaukee.

OK, so we know of two songs so far that Balls has on his MP3 player: Lenny and the Squigtones, and "Say Say Say."

HAHA! I was thinking the same thing Nettles. We discussed this in the music thread - how Balls' was noticeably absent. Then Balls himself admitted to "not being that into music."
We have learned that he has Billy Joel on his iPod. But based on his fan-hood of Lenny and The Squigtones, I'm guessing his much more of a campy Uptown Girl fan than he is of greats like Piano Man and Streetlife Serenade.

He is actually a noted fan of Billy Joel's anthem "Allentown."
Dont forget about the 600 or so "TV theme songs" he has on there. Between that and a couple of hundred Billy Joel tunes, we have half the thing covered.

When my age consisted of single-digits, my Mom and I were big fans of re-runs and we (she) ordered this 8-track collection of nostalgic TV Theme songs. We used to play Name That Tune with the tapes.
If I still had this, I would send it to Balls...I imagine the songs would rank very higher in his number of plays category in iTunes.

There aren't 600 TV Themes, but there are a bunch. I'll have to count when I get home tonight. Do wrestling themes count as TV Themes? What about a song performed by a TV character on the show? For example, would "I Think I Love You," by the Partridge Family count as a TV theme?
An 8 track would do me no good of course.
As for Billy Joel, I'm a fan of pretty much most of his work in all the eras. The only thing about him that ticks me off is that he hasn't come out with a real album since 1994. Write more songs, monkey!

I am sure "Real American" holds a prominent spot...

It's there. But it's not a TV theme.

How about the theme from Hulk Hogan's Rock and Wrestling?
