Jonathan Coachman has been hired for an anchor position with ESPN, according to PWInsider.com. As noted over the weekend, his contract with WWE is slated to expire shortly.
It's interesting to note as well his contract with the WWE is expiring and it's no secret he is struggling a bit in the WWE, especially after going behind the SmackDown! announce table for several months.

I will miss Coach, if he is completely gone this time.
I had not seen any of the work he has been doing with MSG Network, but I heard it was really good.
One of my favorite Coach moments this past year was when we saw the Fed at the Coliseum, and Coach was beaten up by Mick Foley and Hornswoggle. So as things die down Coach is limping back up the ramp, and he ring announcer grabs the mic and for no reason bellows, "lets hear it for the Coach!"
And the place erupts in a thunderous boo. Got to respect that.

Sancho, you never saw Mooney in some of the skits he did with the likes of Lord Alfred on the Colieum Home Videos, I guess.....one I cant get out of my head is Mooney and Lord Alfred dressed like Kirk and Spock, driving the Enterprise around as they introduce matches from "around the world."

Mooney, ther's a name that I haven't heard in years. I think that Coach will do well, as long Rock doesn't show up and make him dance.
