I always thought Wendt and Goodman looked alike. Decided to go with the theme this week.
Too bad they never made a movie together.

I think its cause Wendt and Goodman looked alike. I bet Balls decided to go with the theme this week.
I'm sure he thinks its too bad they never made a movie together.
Perhaps we'll hear from him - once - regarding this sometime.

Oh, and by the way, aside from the fact that they are chubby thespians, they look NOTHING alike.

" always thought Wendt and Goodman looked alike."
So now all fat people look alike? I suppose tomorrow he'll have Wesley Snipes and Sinbad up there.

Fat people are irrelevant. Not all fat people look alike, but those fat people look alike.

I cant believe BOTH of the so-called "bleacher boards" are apparently running tuxedo pics on top at the same time.

If its a ratings war Balls is admitting defeat by copying what they are doing over there.

Both boards were looking quite dapper in the joint venture. No war here. Pride. I was proud to stand next to those 7 in tuxedos. Not a single one of them is a major poster on either board, except Vinny, who posts on both. Changes to come in the following days.

You're kidding, right?
Violet, Rocky, and Shane are regular posters over on 39. Dan is known in those parts as well.
Sorry, I just think it looks second-rate when we do stuff like this. But you are in the picture, so I get it. You would have served yourself better if you waited for them to change the top of that board before you did the same thing, but whatever...

None of those guys are regular posters. They post once in awhile. Like I said, I'm very proud of the stunt, and proud of the people I'm in the picture with. We may end up changing it before they do. We don't run pictures that long.
I totally get your point though.

Violet - over 4000 posts
Shane - over 1000 posts
Rocky - over 500 posts
Sorry, that seems a bit more than "once in awhile."
Look, I dont want to argue this with you, I am glad you see my point, however. Its your week to run the top, feel free to do what you want, but just hope Tone does not notice this, cause they will have a field day with it.

I have nearly 30000 posts. So do you. We are not a regular poster there. But I do see your point and respect it. I just really like that picture. I'm actually considering getting an 8X10 and framing the thing.

I dont know. You couldnt have forced me to do that at gunpoint. If I was going to the All-Star game, I would want to be in comfy clothes. And you act like you are the first handful of guys to walk around in tuxedos together. Most people who saw you guys probably thought you were coming over from an afternoon wedding.

Wrong, this was not a gag. This was guys trying to get on TV. It was also guys sitting around for over 8 hours in tuxedos on a stifling hot day into a muggy night.
You know what was a gag? When a bunch of us showed up in button shirts and ties in protest of some very strict rulings in the bleachers a few years ago. Or the night we subbed milk and cookies for our beer to protest the banning of booze. This was just a publicity stunt, which many people mistook for a bunch of guys coming to the game after an afternoon wedding.
When this was kicked up Balls though there would be 40 guys out there in tuxes. Looks like he was something like 33 or so short.

yeah, there was supposed to be a bunch of us doing it...then Balls couldn't keep a secret for more than 24 hours. That is where I exited the plan.

That's the problem with some people. When something does start to take off, they suddenly become "too cool" to do it. And it's a bit tough to get people to do it if they aren't asked to do it.
Bottom line though is the thing went off very well, and I'm proud of it.

it also seemed like a colossal waste of money to rent a tuxedo (since i certainly would never wear my own to the bleachers) just to take it off when i realize how stupid it is to wear a suit to a ballgame in July.
Mission accomplished though. If getting your face in the paper was the goal...i guess it was worth it.
