Some of you have gotten this via FaceBook. I'm organizing a ski trip which will take place from 2/20/09 through 2/22/09. Includes RT transportation from LI/NYC, 2 nights of accomodations, 4 meals, ski equipment (lift tix extra), and 17 hours of open bar. Details can be found here tinyurl.com/6maefbBig Al might not be too impressed with the hill but maybe he can partake in some one-arm curls with us at the bar.

So check us out. This weekend we are heading up to the Sugar Loaf Fall Festival. All kinds of caper shall ensue. Street performers, artists, crafts, food and fun. A 70 mile jaunt in the car, this would not have been an option last year, before we upgraded to the new wheels. We are going to have golden weather, a beautiful day for this on Saturday. Dana has been to this area in the past, as a wee one, I have never. We are looking forward to some family fun. www.sugarloafnychamber.com/fallfest/index.html

Go Republicans!
I'll be watching from my computer chair, 5 miles away from the debate. I stream a live chat on hotair.com, the rabid Republican fanbase keeps me amused and informed.
Anyhow, as to me and events, I am heading to Borders Wall Street around 1PM for a Josh Hamilton book signing. If too many others are about, though, I am going to leave and save some dough by ordering the book on Amazon. I cant invest more than half the 3 hours that spent at the Bret Hart signing last week.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I was contacting various manufacturers of canned food to see I can can secure a large number of cases at a discount and my spending close of 5 grand on my boss' AMEX to purchase said food. From tomorrow until November 12th, you can see 10 structures that have been designed and constructed solely from canned foods. They will be displayed at RexCorp Plaza (formerly known as EAB Plaza). Just bring a can of food to donate when (and if) you swing by. This is my firm's structure of Wall-E.

Wall-E is a TOTAL ripoff of Johnny Five! That's what my coworker said. You know stuff like this has to be recycled somehow. Anybody remember the computer game "The Neverhood?" I was convinced that the character was a combination of Mr. Bill & Earthworm Jim.
