I don't accept paypal, but you get me the money, I'll place the bets.
When you place a bet in Vegas, say for the World Series, do you have to go BACK to Vegas to collect if you win?

No problem. If someone can get me their money, and wants a bet placed, I'm game.

No, you can collect by mail. I did it way back when the Cowboys wrecked the Bills the first time in the Super Bowl.

Balls, never take the insurance at the black jack table.
It's a sucker's move.

I am waiting for my coworker to finish eating his sandwich so that we can go to a call in Riverhead.

Just getting home. Shocker of shockers, we actually were shot an email around 1PM to pack it up and get on home, although I think this is sort of a laugher of a storm. Could be a lot worse, requisite icing aside. Got home in a flash, no delays. I suppose I am appreciative, I just wish Dana was home too, and not working late tonight.

I am working, listening to my coworkers Christmas music... a cassette he picked up years ago in Chinatown... traditional Christmas carols sung in Chinese by a choir of Chinese kids. Frosty the Snowman is currently cracking me up!

I am currently laughing so hard there are tears streaming down my face.
I'm in the office trying to bang out a few reports and it got too quiet, so I needed to pop in a mellow/motivating/non-distracting CD... so I put in Bernie's The Journey Within... from the other room, my coworker yells "what the hell is that?!?!" and what sounded like "What do you, live in an adobe???"
[She actually said "what are you, trying to kill me?"]
My response was, "You said no Christmas music... so you need to suffer with Yankees making music." She's a stupid Mets fan.

No need to be so repetitive.

How does on live in an adobe?
You can live in an adobe building, but not in an adobe.

Anyone working? I am surprised at how empty the roads were, how peaceful the office is. While there are rumors we may leave as early as 2, 3 is more likely, and even later is a possibility. In fact, although NOTHING is happening and most other departments never even came in, we may work the full day.
So, anyone? Oh, Happy Easter Weekend to all of you.

Full day over here but I waltzed in at 12 because I had a doctor's appointment. There have been times where an e-mail will be circulated at 3:30 saying we can leave at 4. Oooh...one friggin hour.

Hey! Have not been around much the last two days....lots of end of the month grind at work. See, I DO work! Well, in between vacations anyway.
So I will be sneaking on here now and again in between silly work stuff.

listening to the History Of Howard Stern on XM...annoyed that Jessica Hahn is one of those people who doesn't pronounce the "H" when she says "HUGE."
"That's when I knew Howard was gonna be YOOOOGE"

So there was this yellow spider just crawling here on my desk. I grabbed a piece of paper, and folded it around him. I then shredded said piece of paper. Ouch!

Downloading - and paying for - the new 27 track offering from Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Was planning on picking it up anyway (officially released tomorrow) but Amazon had an MP3 special - all the tracks for $3.99.
I guess they do these daily specials all the time, today my eye was caught by the album cover of this release.
So if you're a fan, you can legally download for $3.99.

I will pay for music until the day I die. I choose my purchases wisely. Since I stopped stealing music, I have never had a computer virus problem. Have fun with your popups and your spam!

I have over a thousand downloaded albums and have never gotten a virus or had popup problems what so ever. You just have to know where to get music! P2P is for lame-o people.
