Pops is starting to make a run to get out of the cellar. Will Larry be the first person to go from first to last in one year?

Pops is now 1 point away from leaving the cellar. Larry is just 1 point away from entering the cellar.

Changes at the top and bottom of the overalls as Grover moves into first with an 85 point night, and Larry moves to last with a -10.

A big thank you goes out to Larry for helping me end my streak of being the worst team in Section 39 Fantasy Baseball. Now I'm only the second worst team in Section 39 Fantasy Baseball. Look out Jose , I've got my eye on you & tenth place. Like the Jefferson's Theme song. "I'm a moving on up" Damn 2 years in a row my first pick has been a bust. José Reyes Last year & Mark Texeira this year. Hard to over come first round busts

Grover is making a serious bid to end his streak at 50 straight sessions.

Texeira is on pace to finish up right around where my first pick (3rd overall), David Wright, was last year. I finished second.
That said, Grover is winning this session, and my record of 56 straight winless sessions appears to be safe. I mean, holy shit. He picked up 97 points last night, and 71 of them were from HITTING! In one day! Even his hitting bench scored 30 points!
As long as his team stays healthy, he's a lock to finish in the money, and obviously the favorite to win it.

Jose and Laura--so far the two biggest underachievers based on how they did in the draft.

Not much happened last night.
The only low light was Larry pulling off a -7.

It Looks like Yahoo did not give A.J. Burnett the points for his win on Tuesday or Wednesday. Seeing as the Solons need all the help they can get. Balls Can you look in to it & or adjust my point totals . Thanks

My guess is that Yahoo will find out about it and update it on its own.

Nothing against Grover, but I AM only 21 points back. Of course, with my ineptitude at choosing which starting pitchers to activate, I should be leading the session. I've left a shit load of points on the bench. But it is what it is.

Both of you have 2 starters going in the next 2 days. I would expect Grover to gain ground on you tonight because of Santana. Grover has a terrible hitting night with a blown save. You are really the only one with a chance of catching him, and the odds of him having 3 bad days in a row are small. You aren't overwhelming him with extra starting pitching, so it seems unlikely you'll catch him.
Obviously, it's possible, but you need to have a solid 2 days and he needs at least one bad one.

I could, but I won't. I'll fall short. More concerned with the overall anyway. I didn't figure I was going to win many sessions this year if any, as my team is built more with steady producers. Eyes on the prize.
Incidentally, I have three SPs going in the next two days.

3 SPs wouldn't be able to help you when Grover has 2--unless Grover loses, and your 3 starts are stellar. Two days isn't a lot of time. That day when Grover got like 70 hitting points seems to have locked it up.

Halladay's perfect game may have given John a miracle comeback--especially with 2 triple digit nights in a row--something I don't remember ever happening.

Told you man.
You were looking at the number of players going but not the match ups. Justin and Pops had better match ups going starter wise, and if anything we can't count anyone out this year, which we just saw with JW coming all the way back.
We got a pretty exciting year so far.

Pops 588 John 585 Justin 584 Tom 468
These are raw calculations, but I think Pops actually won it.
Also, this does not include Burnett's 12-point win, which should be updated Monday (according to Yahoo), unless Balls already factored that in. If he didn't, Pops wins the session by about 15 points, making me a lot less pissed that Halladay threw an 81-point perfecto to beat me by a point or so.
