What's socialist about Obama? Have you not noticed the government expansion since he took charge?
Government control of health care? The most socialist bill ever passed?
Osama is sending Obama Ramadan cards.
Bush isn't president anymore.
I know this is tough for you to grasp, but all the failures since 2007 belong to the democrats, who have shown nothing but the need to spend money, raise taxes, take over health care, and basically fuck over every American.
You really have no clue what you're talking about. It's much easier just to write LOL.
This bill helps insurance companies? With what? The cadilac tax that will punish people who actually have good plans? The rise in premiums that will force companies out of business and give people no choice but the government plans? Or how about the failure of government to pay doctors which will cause a shortage of people going into medicine?
And you might want to wake up and realize it isn't 2008. Democrats are the ones feeling the wrath of the people right now. They're starting to see the shits that they voted in.
The biggest failure of Republicans was losing the elections and letting the socialists take over.

Lololololol
Ramadan cards are socialist? Lololololol
See, proves my point that republicans are scared of dark people.
Grand ole pussies.
Lololololol you think just because someone isn't in office their policies are gone? That's like saying if I spent 2009 drinking and doing drugs, and I suddenly stop, I should feel no affects in 2010.
Republicans are such pussies you can't even take blame. Pussies. Enjoy being the sole reason shitty democrats are in office ruining the nation.

No--that's his terrorist love.
Republicans aren't scared of dark people. Bringing that jerk's race only shows your ignorance of his policies.
Obama can reverse anything Bush did, especially with his politboro following orders.
The fact that he's turning 1/6th of the economy socialist while skyrocketing the deficit shows that.
The failures of the Republicans in Congress led to the election of people far worse. Yes, the Republicans are responsible for that. How did they do it? By abandoning what got them elected and governing like democrats.
And yes, the democrats are ruining the nation. But that's not the fault of Republicans. It's the fault of democrats.
You put a socialist dictator in power, who has already done more harm to this country than Bush did in 8 years. He's done more harm than all terrorists combined. And you still don't get it. Fortunately, not all the American people have their heads buried in the sand.

In other words, you have no response, and you showed this to a drunk moron. That guy probably believes that this health care will cut the deficit. I hope you didn't buy into that, but judging by your posts, you did.

Our laughter is a response.
Have fun watching democrats take the white house in 2012.
Actually, he's a Doctor. It's why I showed him. We've spent the last hour talking about it and how taxes will go up because of it. Not that you know anything about intelligent discussions, Mr. Too scared to admit I'm wrong.

Your laughter is a sign of ignorance.
I wholly EXPECT Obama to win re-election. Given the miserable state of the country and the morons who drank the kool aid, the socialist dictator will be back.
And if your friend is a doctor, and endorses this plan, he's a quack.
Good luck getting paid.

>Implying Socialism is a bad concept >implying you didn't support and continue to support a dictator for the last decade >implying your reasoning isn't just your butthurt from 2008Get used to paying more taxes, because, God willing, we'll have a more European style health care system soon, where everyone gets a good coverage, and good people who need it don't get dropped because of a preexisting condition, or hard working people go bankrupt. We'll get there eventually, but you greedy Republicans are too busy crying over the few lazy sacks who will get a few pennies, as if they don't take advantage of the current system as is. the system you want to keep in place. At least with this, good people will benefit eventually. Your party is dying a slow death. Bush's disgrace made you guys so unpopular we see more centrists, independents, and libertarians now than Republicans. The youth of today are darker, gayer, and most importantly, more tolerant. When you're old and gray, you'll wax poetic about how you guys used to run the show. Republicans will evolve, they have to to survive, and God willing, the intellectual conservative will return and the Regeanite/Bush/Chenney/Rove/FOXnews Republican will die. Have fun knowing that the entire planet mocks you guys, and that your legacy will be the party that sunk the US. Have fun thinking it doesn't matter.

The European style healthcare SUCKS.
There's a reason many of them come HERE for health care.
What you have in Europe is healthcare rationing, long waits, and lower survival rates for little diseases like cancer.
You can't wait 6 months for an MRI and expect to live. But they have tons of red tape, and lesser health professionals.
At least admit it, you're a socialist.
More taxes is not the solution to anything except bigger government. This is not our country.
Your party is killing America. The youth of today are dumber. You have no clue about tolerance. You just spew ignorance.
What's so tolerant about a party that promotes class and race warfare for its own gain?
I hope you GET to be old and gray, because with this shit health system that you want, the odds just went down.
I don't give a fuck what the entire planet mocks. I would recommend that you go live in Europe, under their health system, and see what shit it is before you come back home where we actually do things right--or did before this socialist dictator took over.
Good people will NOT benefit from this shady health plan, filled with kickbacks and bribes, passed against the will of the people, by a bunch of socialists who deserve to be treated under these health rules.

So now that Obama has fucked over the American people's health care system, he's turning his attention to fucking over America's ability to defend itself.
Now he says he won't even use nuclear weapons in self defense. That's good to publicly tell the world that we won't use our most potent deterrent to an attack. CHANGE!!!!

Of course my eyes are teary from 08. Look what these shitheads have done in so short of a time. They tripled the deficit and fucked up healthcare forever, all while turning the US into a joke throughout the world.
Now I'm sure you will try to come back with some anti-Bush comment, but Bush made it very clear--America will defend itself, and if another country doesn't like it, fuck you.
As for this latest stupidity from Obama, he said that the US is supposed to lead by example.
It's the old turn the other cheek policy. What he's doing is showing weakness throughout the world.
"But for countries that don't have nuclear capabilities that are following the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Gates said they need not fear the United States' still-vast nuclear stockpile.
"The United States pledges not to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against (those countries)," Gates said -- even in the case of a biological or chemical attack. "
What a dick.
Maybe in 7 years, if he doesn't completely fuck up the country beyond repair, we'll get a real president again. One that actually is pro-America, not pro-"kiss the ass of the world even if it fucks America over."

You're missing the point of what he is doing by doing this.
Also, please explain to me why we would need to nuke someone in that situation?
Also, are you saying we are unable to retaliate without nukes?
Also, are you saying that the use of nukes is more than a last option?
You really don't know what you are talking about.

Um, if we're attacked, every weapon at our disposal should be on the table.
You really have no clue about the concept of deterrence. Nuclear weapons have saved lives. I know this doesn't register with you, but without nukes, WWII would have needed an invasion of Japan that would have cost maybe a million more lives.
Nuclear weapons PREVENTED WWIII. You really think the US and USSR wouldn't have fought it out if not for the fear of annihilation?
Of COURSE nukes are a last option. But you don't go around saying, "we're not going to nuke you ever" to ANYONE.
All that does is show weakness and encourage the enemies. Our nuclear policy has worked pretty well over the last 65 years.

Key sentence, ignored by those who have an agenda and those who just want to trash the president for anything, truth be damned. Translation: Iran, North Korea, and other countries that haven't agreed to the NN-PAT can and would be nuked if prompted

Exactly, thanks for having a brain.
This is a negotiating tactic with Russia as well as Iran. Iran likes to point to things like this as if we won't flip it on them, and we just did.
Of course republicans don't see it that way, because they are the biggest pussies on earth and are terrified we won't flaunt our nukes like they want to. Fags.

Again, you're missing the point, as always, because you're too interested in Bush bashing to see the big picture. This is STILL sending a message to our enemies that they can attack us and not worry about our biggest deterrent to such an attack.
Not surprising that a socialist will kiss Russia's ass, but giving away the farm isn't going to help us long term.
The threat of nukes is a deterrent to an attack. This is an even dumber maneuver than telling the terrorists our plans for exiting Iraq with a time table.
By the way, ARE we exiting Iraq yet? Next month is 16 months.

No, but it sure beats standing in front of a 'Mission Accomplished' sign, right?
Sean just pointed out to you, factually, why you're wrong and we're missing the point>?
Well, it's typical of you, a Republican, to be scared and to want the biggest gun for protection. No faith in our troops? Did we nuke anyone after 9/11? Did our nukes deter 9/11? What makes you think our enemies believe us? Do you understand the nature of what he is trying to do, and how he is trying to get Russia to calm their shit down also, as well as show North Korea and Iran that they are wrong on our approach?
God you Republicans are sheep. Anything that comes across the TV is gospel. Obama is weak, forget about facts and details.
You guys can ignore it, but you sound stupid.
Hell, I didn't even mention Bush until this post, and you've said that's what I've been doing in the last couple of post on this issue. Wow, you can't even read now.

And it's typical of you, a liberal socialist, to actually think that the enemies of this country actually think logically and are scared of a paper tiger like Obama. Mission Accomplished was a mistake. But that still doesn't change that terrorists fear Republican presidents.
Nukes didn't deter 9/11 because the decade before was filled with a weak White House that didn't do anything to combat terrorism and didn't take it seriously. There wasn't another attack on US soil until Obama took charge.
Do you really think that North Korea and Iran are going to back down with Obama? If so, you are more naive than the president.
Don't act like you don't Bush bash every chance you get. Unfortunately, Bush bashing will not change that Obama has been a blithering incompetent, fucking things up more in a year than you wish Bush did in 8.

Dummy, how many terrorist acts were committed in the Clinton era where Clinton did nothing? The 9/11 attack would never have happened had there been a real response to the terror during the Clinton era.
And look at the response of the GOP after 9/11. They acted, and implemented a shitload of procedures that have prevented more terror and helped keep us safe. You can ignore that all you want, but Bush did about as well as any president could do after 9/11. The results speak for themselves.
No attack on US soil until Obama took over and pretended that terrorism doesn't exist.
He still won't admit that the attack on Fort Hood was an act of terrorism.
But back to the real topic--his stupid childish belief that announcing to the world we won't use nukes will somehow worry Iran.
It's about as naive as thinking banning guns will somehow make the world a better place. What Obama's policies WILL do is basically say that the only people using nukes, will be lawless terrorist states.
Holy crap this policy is stupid.

Really? Show me where it says that?
I've asked a few questions, and haven't received any real answers.
Like, please explain why nukes didn't deter terrorist attacks?
And please show where Obama said we won't nuke anyone anymore, ever, and only terrorist states will get to use nukes. Please quote, and explain.
I dare you. I challenge you. Will you run from the challenge like every Republican runs from anything remotely dangerous?

The Obama administration has taken the extraordinary step of authorizing the targeted killing of an American citizen, the radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who is believed to have shifted from encouraging attacks on the United States to directly participating in them, intelligence and counterterrorism officials said Tuesday. . . .
American counterterrorism officials say Mr. Awlaki is an operative of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the affiliate of the terror network in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. They say they believe that he has become a recruiter for the terrorist network, feeding prospects into plots aimed at the United States and at Americans abroad, the officials said.
It is extremely rare, if not unprecedented, for an American to be approved for targeted killing, officials said. A former senior legal official in the administration of George W. Bush said he did not know of any American who was approved for targeted killing under the former president. . . .
"The danger Awlaki poses to this country is no longer confined to words," said an American official, who like other current and former officials interviewed for this article spoke of the classified counterterrorism measures on the condition of anonymity. "He’s gotten involved in plots."
Soft on terrorists huh?

WOW! Killing an al qaeda. One guy. Who is a terrorist.
But again, let's go back to the closing of Gitmo, the announcement of a time table for withdrawing from Iraq, trying to have terrorist trials in the middle of NYC, and of course this galactically stupid decision on the nukes.
Oh yeah, because Iran is going to give up nukes to be part of the "Obama won't nuke me" crowd. Obama is as soft on terror as a president can be.
Let's give terrorists their Miranda rights and pay for their defense attorneys. LOLOLOL!

Yeah, yet Reagan wasn't DUMB enough to announce to the world that he wouldn't nuke countries even if they attacked us with chemical weapons.
Reagan was smart enough to know that the best way to achieve peace was through strength, not weakness.
Reagan's increased military spending helped bankrupt the Soviet Union and brought them to the table.
He bombed the shit out of terrorist countries like Lybia.
If Obama ever dreamed he was as good of a president as Reagan, he'd better wake up and apologize.

Clinton had one of the largest bombing campaigns of Iraq until this new fake war that Bush started. Nearly every other day we hit something with a missile as Saddam tried to fuck with the no fly zones and other stuff to provoke us.
You pick and chose your facts Balls. Hell, most of the time it isn't even fact, ti;s an opinion, and a idiotic one at best. You are amazingly uninformed, misinformed, and pathetic when to comes to debate. You understand nothing, because you are not willing to acknowledge anything but your own view, and needing to say you are right.
You are the Chicago Cubs of Politics.
Republicans are the biggest pussies on the face of the Earth, and quite honestly they might be the most despised.
How does it feel to be so hated? Does it feel good? Will playing pretend get you thought the day?
Enjoy your dying ideology. The nation is getting gayer, darker, and more liberal as time goes by. No one wants to be a Republican.

Grover, I am pleased to see that maintaining any dialogue here still amuses you. I mean, I never ever ever enter this thread b/c I know its a colossal time-suck that has no end. How can any rational discourse take place here when each remark provokes a return volley that isnt related, or is mud-slinging, or is straight up mis-information which is passionately believed to be fact? Maybe with a mediator and a fact verifier I'd step into the fray, but in this format its a pure fool's errand.
In a cursory scan here, I see you point out something being used "as a negotiating tactic", which evoked "you're Bush bashing" even though there wasnt any mention of Bush, followed by the soundbite the country was brainwashed with for 5 of the last 6 years saying we're giving ___ a message that we're weak and lost our spine. That shit was told to us over and over to instill fear in our populous in order to maintain support of our unsubstantiated military aggression in Iraq.
If the united states can destroy the planet 5000 times over with the arsenal we have stockpiled, and we decide that maybe we only need to bully everyone else with an ability to destroy the earth 20 times over, we havent lost any intimidation factor, we cant be giving any message of surrender or spinelessness, we merely are cleaning up excesses aka 'useless shit' and gaining bargaining chips/leverage at the same time. Nothing more is involved with it and a debate over it is retarded.
I'm out of this debate. Cant say I'll be back either.

OH, don't mind Papa Bush, he's just signing the first START treaty, the same treaty that expired last year which Obama just renewed. Since it was started in 91, chances are it was being worked on year before that. The difference is when a Republican does the same thing, it's good. Coward Republicans on a coward message board. Go fuck yourselves, pussies. You're time is over.
