I haven't seen it yet, but I do have it on the DVR. Ill make it a point to watch soon, especially as its 2 hours, and takes up some prime real estate.

Finally watched this VERY interesting documentary about Andre The Giant's life...last night.
Ran on Fox Sports, I believe.

Hum....I know the one that was on BIO Channel, and may even have been on A&E. Is this something new? I would be interested in seeking it out. There is a new Andre book out. Cleans him up a bit. He had a lot of foibles.

Not sure of this is new or not.
The interesting thing to me is that Andre suffered from a growth disease and from that I always thought that he must have resented being a wrestler, and resented wrestling as it made him out to be somewhat of a circus freak.
But the truth is, he LOVED wrestling and LOVED being a wrestler.

Aftermath: Population Zero
Interesting simulation of what the Earth would be like if every human suddenly disappeared. The show covered down to the smallest details about what would happen to: zoo animals, planes, cars, wild animals, oceans, power plants, buildings, nuclear reactors, insects, domesticated pets, satellites, the earth's atmosphere, etc...

Well, we ended up clearing a lot of rubbish that was backing up in our DVR. We took a vote, and the result was 2-0, to not bother with a lot of these new dramas that are out there. I had DVRd "Warehouse 13" on Sci-Fi, but it will never make it to airing in our house. Purged it. There were a couple of dramas, I think on Spike or FX, I considered for a hot minute - undercover cop sorta stuff - but we kiboshed it.
We had bad experiences with two of the last shows we hopped on - The Rich's (one of the worst shows I have ever seen) and Mad Men (we are both stunned and regretful we slogged through season 2 - what a waste) - we're just going to stick with our old standards, unless something knocks off the proverbial socks.
I did DVR "Michael and Michael Have Issues" on Comedy Central last night, bought to us by Showalter and Ian Black, which has come with decent reviews, and has that "The State / Stella" pedigree goin for it.

I saw on Adam Richman's TWITTER that he claimed he went something like 12-5-5 this season in challenges....there were that many shows? I could swear there was under 10.

Hmmm...yeah, I don't feel like there were 22 shows.
LA, NY, Austin, San Jose, Portland, Seattle, Pittsburgh, ATL, New Orleans, Boston, Chicago, Denver, North Carolina, Memphis, Columbus, Amarillo, St. Louis, Minneapolis..
Well, that's 18...I could be missing some.

My number may have been off, I was riffing that 12-5-5 #. I really did not think there was as many as 18, but there you have them. Good stuff, looking forward to more. Adam TWITTERED that this new season has some ca-razy challenges.

I was watching a bunch of them last night...I think it's funny how you can see the noticeable weight gain from beginning to the end of the season.
I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Ok, a recent find that I enjoy is a HISTORY original, in the "reality" genre, of all things when it comes to me. PAWN STARS. 3 generations of family men running a pawn shop. You get a cool mix of fun collectables / antiques / archivals, and a fun dynamic. Its 30 minutes, so its not overstaying its weekly welcome. The ins and outs of this pawn palace are a fun watch.
Check it out!

I've added Mad Men to my DVR scheduler...haven't watched it yet though. People are hyping this show like it's the best thing on TV.
