I agree on all counts, especially your second No. 3!

Not even 5 mins into Shannys first game back there's been a Flyer carried off on a stretcher after getting knocked out with a punch by Colton Orr during a fight(which was actually 28 seconds in), it was almost like a UFC knockout, my favorite Ranger, Prucha scored and best of all, they are playing against the Flyers like it's a playoff game which they needed to do. I love the playoff atmosphere in any hockey game.

Same and Joe pissed me off carrying on how this is going to look bad for the league. If anyone doesn't think that someone getting knocked out cold isn't possible even on ice is a douche and doesn't know shit about hockey and doesn't matter.
That siad, a much needed 2 points, 1 away from the bolts in 6th, plus a shutout for Henrik. I'll make the argument he's in the top 3 goalies in the league and should be MVP cause while he had a slow start of the season, the rangers would not be where they are now if not for King Henrik. If the Rangers don't resign him I'll cry. I'll give him whatever money I have to stay on the Rangers. You gotta give him whatever the fuck he wants.

Sidney Crosby will be the MVP this season. End of story.
and if the Rangers don't resign Henrik Al Montoya is waiting in the wings. Jw

And Brodeur would have the only other consideration if he didn't win just 4 in his last 10.

No shit john, I'm not saying he is,. but he is without a doubt the most valuable ranger and without him they are out of the playoff race. He pretty much needs to pitch a shutout every night just for them to have a chance, it's sad they can't score more than 3 goals most of the time. And speaking of Montoya, he's waiting, which is exactly why you trade Weekes or something and have Montoya backup Henrik.
Yeah and of course Marty, I think him and Hank have to be the two best. I think Emery is up there, a few others but besides a few rough spots the two best goalies this year have been Marty and Henrik. And for the record I'm not going by stats, I'm going by consistent play.

Actually, that's exactly what you said.
And they didn't bring Montoya in to be a backup.

I said he should be, I didn't say he was going to be MVP. And that wasn't literally either, it was to relate the point his play has been MVP caliber, with only a few others playing much better, especially down the stretch. I never once said he WAS a lock and going to be MVP.

There are a whole handful better than Henrik. But, for fun, here are his numbers compared to his buddy here in New York, DP.
DiPietro 3443 min, 30-19-8, 2.61 GA, .918 SP Henrik 3645 min 32-21-7 2.35 GA, .915 SP
Eh, besides the slight GA difference, where is the difference? What gives you the balls to say this guy is pacing the entire league?

Stats wise, this year, they top "The King."
And I would take DiPietro. And making the playoffs would be the worst thing that could happen to the Rangers. Henrik plays scared.

Well, Lundqvist is playing well as of late. As a matter of fact, he's playing just as good as any goalie in the league right now, and is the main reason the Rangers are still in it. Same time last year he was gassed and faltering.
He sure played scared in the Olympics, which most foreigners look to be just as, if not more important than the Stanley Cup. LOL!

YEAH!!!
ALL HAIL KING HENRIK! THE GREATEST GOALIE IN NEW YORK HOCKEY HISTOIRY(countdown till some fucking mutt takes the last sentence literally and goes on a tirade how I don't know my ass from my elbow)!!!!!!
In all seriousness, people who claim they are more a fan of the sport than a team bug me. I know it's one thing not to have team blinders on, but they'll go out of their way to show how their team or a player on the team isn't as good as someone else in the league. You can still know what's what and support your fucking team, and the players on said team. It's a sign of weakness and unintelligence not to back your own players appearantly. But who am I kidding, there's nothing more exhilirating than pointing out the shortcomings of others.

Within one of the Bolts, two ahead of the Isles and about 20 million other teams within 2 points. The east is fucked up, a team might get 90 points and not make the playoffs. Plus with the bad blood in general, but even moreso with the Hollweg/Simon stuff, todays game is going to be a goodie. 2 points Blueshirts.
With the game an hour away, it's time to drink. I want to hear some Potvin sucks chants in that dump of an arena.

Not over yet. Islanders still have a game in hand over most of the other teams hanging around, and 5 games left at home.
Talk to me in a week.

Yeah James, we got 4 road games ahead of us and most of them are against teams looking to make the playoffs. Let's not start poking fun of teams who could be ahead of us in a week.

And we have a better road record than home. 2 weeks ago, i was worried. But as it looks now, the blueshirts are heading into the playoffs 6th seed with momentum. Plus, a few wins for the rangers and a few loses by the right teams we lock up a spot. The bolts are tanking, as long as the rangers keep winning teams within a few points us will have to worry about tampa bay in a week, not passing the rangers. In my mind, by this weekend carolina, the isles, etc will be worry about the 7th and 8th seed, we'll have 6th all to ourselves. And before Balls asks, no I'm not betting my hair on it.
