Yeah the wprse period they've played in 3 months is my fault. But seriously, 9-1-3 goinjg into this one, Habs fighting to stay in the race. we were due for the loss. Now all that's important is Henrik not getting rattled by this and just keep playing the good hockey we played all this month up to this day.
I'm still right about the bolts and isles. As long as the rangers rebound from this and don't go on some losing streak, the way I see it we don't have to worry about passing anyone. They just have to keep winning, playing like they have the past few weeks, a game like this was only a matter of time. I don't think this is going to be some trend the last 5 games.
BTW, it's Cactus.

BUMP Bitches.
New season under way, fuck they looked good. Fast, hard hitting, gritty. No one guy stands out as a centerpeice and it's nice. The offense/power play doesn't start and end with one guy, there's plenty of options and all of them weapons. Drury is fucking amazing, stats don't show it, but the small things he does during a game make a big difference. Thank god they gave him the C. I love the D, Redden and Kalinin are nice additions, Staal is better than last year, as is Danny Girardi. Mara and Rosaval bring a lot of size and power but can still transition nicely. Henry is King. And the real NY hockey Doobie, Brandon Dubinski, is a future superstar. I love having Dru being a winger with Scotty and Nick Zhredev, cause it lets Doob be a second line center, which he can handle.
And I feel bad for Prucha, the fucking guy does his job 100% every night and can't finish. He's got nothing to show for his hard work, and the guy does bust his ass. I hope they don't get rid of him, cause I promise he'll turn into another Tony Amonte, but I can see it happening sooner than later. I don't know why he couldn't excel on a second line with Doobie and Naslund.
Either way, 4 points in Prague, and a home opener against the Blackhawks friday. I know it's early, but it'd be nice to start off hot, pile up some points for a cushion down the road. Any lead we can get early over the Pens and the rest of the teams in the Atlantic, I'm happy with. It's fun watching them though, there's no one superstar, just one team pulling in one direction. Hopefully, more good things and a longer run in the playoffs are to come.

Winning both games across the seas was a good thing for that club. Nice to have two Ws in the column without a blemish, I am sure. This said, I hate the idea of anyone opening up across the world. Keep the fucking game in North America. Not everything needs to be marketed to the world so some people can make even more money, which is the only reason this is done.

Same old story, no goals! They did pick up thier game though. They had plenty of chances, but couldn't put the puck in. They better beat Fla tomm night and stay ahead of them in the race.

LOL @ Tortorella not allowing them to step on the giant Ranger logo on their dressing room carpet. Its a cute idea, but even he admits since the logo takes up almost the whole room, its nearly impossible for everyone to step around it.

LOL! Gomez is on the pre-game saying the Rangers are exactly where they want to be. Does he mean fighting for a playoff spot and scoring more than 1 goal a game? What a goof!

F Renney, I'm so glad a coash is in there who won't take any shit and won't allow them to play passive laid back hockey. Still can't finish and put more than one in the net but the teams has played their best games since Torts became coach. Hopefully they get a regulation win tonight, and more than one goal, for Hank's sake.
Gomez is an idiot, him and Dru suck a fat dick this year.

Now the real insanity begins. I thought it was crazy enough getting the 8th seed, this time of year makes me going even nuttier. It's really setting in now, this is playoff hockey, even though many of the Rangers games the past month have been playoff like games, this is the real playoffs and the real nervousness and anxiety are much worse than last month. I can't even worry about making a playoff thread and making predictions, I'm too worried, I'm really going to be going crazy over the next month.
And yes, I refuse to shave unless we get eliminated or win the whole fucking thing. LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!

Sorry Justin, gotta do it.....
1 down, 15 to go. And I don't know if I can make it that far, this is too fucking stressful. I feel like I just aged 25 years and it's one game into it. I can't take it.

Wow....Henry plays huge, that's expected, but taking a 2-0 lead back to the Garden, didn't see this coming. I hope they change doesn't screw them up and they stay focused. I can't keep watching these games, my mental health hangs in the balance.
