Odds are, you were also working at 8:30pm as well, so it wouldn't have been issue for you. Like you said, that's life....

Yeah, wait until the next issue when the "I don't care as much" lot actually miss out on something. We'll see how "That's life" floats.
Shit league.

With Tom in traction, the High Hard Ones responded with an 89 point night. This night propelled Tom into the lead and prevented Neil's dream of spending every single day this season in first place.
Capone's team finally decided to show up, and he had a nice 82 point night as well. Milton officially enters the hot seat in last place. He didn't have a bad night, but it was bad enough to fall into danger. Fortunately for him, Evan is not that far ahead. Unfortunately, he has less than half the points of the leader, the late Tom Brown.

This is true, but people were counting you out, declaring you dead. Your team came back against all odds with a strong showing.

The first week is nearing a close and the first session is nearing the halfway point. 11 teams find themselves in pursuit of the one armed man, Sheriff Tom, who added another 11 points to his lead over Neil. Could Tom win his first session 1 in 5 years? We shall see.
Pops and Justin were the winners of a relatively slow night, with 42 and 41 points respectively. Knoblauch was the big loser, with just 4 points on the board.
Meanwhile, Milton's quest to get out of last place continues.

I see Milton's losing to Laura for a change.
Dice-K was the man for me last night. But it was against the Royals.

Suzy what's with this hating Mr. Flash Gordon??? He is human, just like Jeter ..... Trust me I would rather have the save but sometimes stuff doesn't go your way ....It doesn't matter Gordon and my other closer --- Gagne not now, Dotel not now, will help Santana, Oswalt, Pedro and Clemmens take the Best of both worlds to the promised land ....

Pedro will be worthless this year.
I'm telling you, Jose...your team just isn't that good.

I agree with Justin, Jose's team isn't that good .... I'm thinking that we both should bet Jose a bottle of Grey Goose or Cuervo Gold that our teams do better than his.... we are allready better than him so far this season so we will be playing with a advantage.... what do you think Justin ?

I've hated Gordon when he was with the Red Sox, hated him with the Yankees, hated him when I saw him at the Borgata, hate with the Phillies.
Hamels had a nice game, but Gordon blew the win. Another reason for me to hate him.

Hey, how come we're dealing with whole numbers this year for sessions and on the main Yahoo standings page?
If you look on Stattracker, the .33 or .67 show in the standings, if you had a pitcher go a third or 2/3 of an inning...

There's no logical reason for that. I don't know how many leagues actually use fractional points, but Yahoo never did that before, and it sure as hell isn't programmed that way.

What a pain in the ass. In order to see fractional points, you have to click on Full Standings. Pops was indeed the man of the day yesterday, throwing out 93 points, propelling him into second behind Tom. Neil's strong start continues, though I'm sure he's happy Igawa was on his bench. Unfortunately for Neil, Igawa is in his lineup this week and is not on the DL.
Preseason favorite Larry's team is starting to show signs of life, and Knoblauch's team is starting to look like it's capable of running the table--in last.
Anyway, here are the standings:
1. High Hard Ones 331.00 2. Wolftones 311.67 3. Country Clubs Finest 288.00 4. Revenge of LuJedi 286.00 5. smash-fuckin-mouth 281.67 6. TheCheckCollectors 265.33 7. Tudor City Hookers 5 26.00 254.67 8. Best of both Worlds 246.33 9. The Swingin' Dicks 229.00 10. DaBrushBackBastard's 223.67 11. NJ Barflies of LI 219.67 12. Just Too Easy 171.00
