I concur. Plus mixing he two isn't all that bad niether. Sorta like Caddyshack, you know, Well Carl gets Ty to "cannonball it". And I'd also like to pont out an saying I picked up here in the ghettos of lovely downtown Brentwood Long Island,"Liquor before beer, and you're in the clear".
I myself like the Jim Morrison route, couple of John Daniels then some beer chasers.

I opened up a beer this afternoon but my heart was not into it. I sort of forced it down, then moved on to iced tea. NON-ALCOHOLIC iced tea.

Tom you need to have Mikes Hard Iced Tea or a Long Island Iced Tea. This doesn't sound like the guy who asked me to help him get to the bathroom at the Stadium. All kidding aside, me being the beer pong pro I am, sometimes after a long night of owning at the table I force myself to play the next night only to find it's hard to swallow the beer. Which is why sometimes I have no problem just drinking Pina Colodas and Tsunamis. If anyone has ever been to a Gasho, they know what I mean.

Eh, just wasnt feeling it. And I'm at home with the family, and not out at the ballpark or on the barstool with the guys. And you dont need to school me on those hard iced teas, I have drank buckets full. In fact, for a couple of years I was drinking hardly anything but hard iced teas.

I recently purchased the final season of Good Times on DVD. In this season, Florida returned home after a year away, and conveniently forgot her husband. Meanwhile Thelma got married to Keith, a football player who screwed up his knee at the wedding, thus condemning him to live in the ghetto.
I actually liked this season of Good Times. Keith was very funny.

JJ was taking a picture of the couple as they walked down the aisle, and he tripped over JJ. Ruining his career with the Miami Dolphins.

JJ was taking a picture of the couple as they walked down the aisle, and he tripped over JJ. Ruining his career with the Miami Dolphins. Well, it was actually the Chicago Bears. The doctor said that one good hit on that bad knee and he could end up crippled. So Keith had to move in with the Evans family.

I definitely think Keith was a great addition to the show in the final season. Good character, very funny. Very talented actor. I'm actually surprised he didn't do much after the show. He was very good at doing impressions, and that was featured on the show a lot.
That said, James still was the best character that the show ever had.
The series took place in Chicago and he was about to sign his contract with the Bears when he had his accident.

My parents are a couple of days into a cross-country motorcycle trip on my fathers Harley. They called me last night from somewhere in Ohio. They are heading across the country, stopping here and there, and coming back via a different route so they can hit more here and theres.
Ah, to be carefree.

To me, Good Times is an audience participation show. So when I watch an episode, and the audience claps, I like to clap too. I also like to yell "right on" and "you tell him Willona" at the appropriate times.

Speaking of Good Times, I can't believe that all those people stayed in that tiny apartment. Michael & JJ had to sleep on the sofabed together and I'm surprised that JJ didn't take his parents bedroom when Florida moved to Arizona to be with that husband that fell off the face of the earth.

I think JJ did take the bedroom that season. There were never more than 5 people in that apartment. It obviously got tougher when Keith moved in because unlike when James was alive, the kids were older and needed more space. I guess it just seemed more filled because Buffalo Butt kept stopping by.

Neither does JACK in New York. They just have this autonomous voice that comes on here and there and says, "You dont know JACK" and "We play what WE want."

JACK in L.A. - no DJs either...just a bunch of phone message recordings in between songs of people trying to be funny, telling Jack how much they hate him.
