Meh, I don't know about that. There aren't too many chicks with great mic skills in the WWE. Tolerable maybe. But if they weren't hot far less tolerable.

Of course. By definition, hot women are better than ugly women, until they lose their looks. But that doesn't change that most of the WWE divas look like Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, and Jim Cornette compared to Vicki Guererro.

I like Shelton Benjamin over on ECW, and he had a decent match with Shannon Moore.
Individually, Mark Henry and Big Daddy V were just ok, but as a tag team? That's much more fun. I like this idea and hope they pair them up with Striker managing.

im with you grover....heel tag teams are so much better with a manager...guys like albano and blassie really could bring the heat when interfering and those old mgrs were classic on the stick....the WWE divas get enough exposure without having to manage also...ie:melina,torrie wilson, and the queen of spades who used to manage king bookah

I had been wanting to see Big Daddy V and Mark Henry in the same ring, as friends or foes, since the week after Big Daddy V debuted. I thought it just fit.
How bout Layla vs Kelly? Kelly botched her handspring move but good. That match was as sloppy as promised, although they were both dressed in very tittilating fashion. Kelly is as dumb as a board, but she certainly looks pretty good looking pretty bad in the ring.

I agree that would be a great "monster" tag team with Striker as the moutpiece....

That Kelly/Layla match was terrible. I see Kelly Kelly grew a few cup sizes during her time off from Beth Phoenix's attack. LOL
The Jesse/Festus vs. Miz/Morrison match was decent too.

That same statement has been popped on and off each time she appears on TV. Apparently she is simply wearing some very well put-together push-up bra-ery.

A decision on the replacement for JBL is expected to be finalized tomorrow by Vince McMahon. There is supposedly a very shot list of people that Kevin Dunn felt performed well in the recent tryouts. They brought in some people. Michael Hayes is under consideration. Hayes has announced on many different occasions over the years for different companies dating back to the mid-80s UWF wrestling where he once beat Jesse Ventura for best color commentator of the year. As lead writer of Smackdown, it may be tough to juggle both jobs so that's the major thing working against him.

So, ECW has been a solid watch the last few weeks. The hour format works well, as there are at least two, sometimes three, good matches on the show. There is still some frivolity, like Smackdown crossovers (especialy on the monster side with Henry and Khali) and all kinds of diva antics, but they dont get in the way.
Last night were two solid battles, one pitting Miz and Morrison vs Yang and Shannon Moore (who have really won me over as a tag team) and a spirited battle with Punk and Chavo Jr. I am more a Chavo Jr backer than i ever was, he has gained my respect with yeoman work. I enjoy seeing him.
Lena Yada debuted on the diva side last night, it was decent stuff. Conspicuously missing has been Tommy Dreamer and the likes of Balls Mahoney. I am a fan of "Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin, and look forward to him entering that "wrestling" mix on ECW.

Yeah 100%, it serves it's purpose more than well. I too am glad Chavo is getting main event time in ECW, it benefits both him and Punk, and they could really have some good matches when given more time, at a ppv or something.
Wang and Moore are very good, and have awesome chemostry with each other and Miz and Morrison. Miz is def no ham n egger either, very solid in the ring. I was mad however they called it a 15 minutes of fame match, right now call it a 15 minute iron man match? I get it fits Morrisons character, but it's stupid, everyone knows it as it is, an iron man match.

I've come to the realization that I love Chavo. I know he'll never be Eddie, but still, I love him. I'm a big Punk fan, but if he ends up losing the belt to Chavo, I'm ok with it. There is no one else I would be glad to see win it.

I don't know who I'm rooting for tonight. I love Chavo. But I love CM Punk. I don't see Chavo winning. Whatever, win-win for me I guess.

Gotta love the Gold Standard.
Really good match with Kane, a few really cool spots and an ending that fits perfectly with Shelton. After Chavo, Punk needs to feud with him, then we'll see some really cool stuff from Shelton.
Also, Punk hit a very nice looking GTS on Elijah, I like how Punk reversed the leapfrog into the standing firemans carry, but it was all Elijah selling it. Morrison and Burke sell that move the best on the brand.
I like the Dreamer/Delaney combo. Should be interesting to see where that goes.
I love Kofis facial expressions. He could be decent once you get rid of the rough edges, also a few more moves than a new peoples elbow and the spin kick. I like the mat wrestling, but his impact moves, while look cool, don't get off the same effect as other moves. Maybe the crowd was just burnt out, but I don't think he's that bad.
Chavo and Edge fiesta next, should be fun.

Get used to Delaney, he signed a 3 year contract with the fed earlier this month. As to Richards, the fans are behind him - they like these angles based in realism, and he is a good hand, so good for him.

That would be contrary to his gimmick, as a wispy Mikey-Whipwreck underdog type.
