Pat Patterson gay references are always funny. Good points on Million Dollar Man. Those vignettes were incredible. I wonder if they are on Youtube.
Point taken about Skinner. He's available.

Interesting insight here from Apter....Tom anything from your sources? Perhaps Jannetty since he was close last time before the legal trouble? : Are legends like Hulk Hogan being signed to contracts tonight?--Tommy Manella, Clifton, NJ
A: I can't tell you if any offer has been made to Hogan, but I can tell you that at least 3 past talents (I cannot mention their names due to getting my "spy" in hot water) have been given the impression already that they will be brought back in the very near future.
Regarding Hogan -- like I said before -- if he and Vince McMahon can make money together, Hogan will be back fairly soon.

That will be interesting. Several of these guys are in shape that they could fit in the roster with no worries. Steve Blackman is one of them. The fact that Ross commented on his shape makes you wonder if he's one of them.
Jannetty's connection to Michaels combined with how close he was to returning before certainly adds to his chances, but his value is basically just his connection to HBK. He can still wrestle, but his whole gimmick is being Art Garfinkel and Darryl Oates.
Trish and Lita belong on the roster, so they could be candidates, and same can be said about RVD.
From a personal standpoint, I always get a kick out of Mr. Backlund's antics, though I don't know what role he would be in.
Hogan looked in decent shape last night. It's always fun when he's around--as long as they let him do his thing and not turn him into a jobber.

No doubt. I did too. It was also really funny that they ALL ganged up on him. Whenever I see him, I always remember the comment when the gimmick first debuted. "THE STREAK BEGINS!!!! GILLBERG IS 0-1!!!"
Hogan also dropped a teaser that maybe something is up with the Macho Man. I wonder if there is anything to that.

My own sources are saying none of these guys will come out of this with a job. That was never the intent. The only guys the WWE would have remote interest in are RVD (who has no interest in working fulltime again) and Hogan (if they could ever hammer anything out)
If there was ever interest in Jannetty (debatable as he has been fired about 8 times and is and looks old) the lack of a crowd pop for his match would have ended it. There is ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST in Mr Backlund, who is a pain in the ass to work with these days. There is a reason he was the first one out of the battle royal.
As to Hogan's Macho Man thing, that was an INSULT to the Macho Man. The two are sworn enemies, and it was a shot that Hogan was there and Macho was not.

Mr. Backlund was the second one out, and it's clear the reason there may be no interest is because of the conspiracy perpetrated McMahon to quash Mr. Backlund's message of enlightenment toward the plebeians.

You should, as you would enjoy it. It's perfectly clean, and nostalgic. Related to last night's Raw.

Again, I will not click unless i know what it is. I wont waste my time. I will never understand how you people post blind links and expect people to watch them. By not even saying what it is, you are just about admitting its not of interest to most.

Why the secrecy? Tell me exactly what it is, or I won't go. I dont want to waste my time. If its something I am not interested in, I dont care to click on it.
And dont lie either, if someone posts a link describing something other than the link, I will ban linking videos.
So tell me what it is, or stop asking me to watch it.

Why would I want to click that? I just saw that on 24/7 a week or so ago, along with vignettes at a pool and at an eatery. I have them on tape to watch whenever I want.
So I would have wasted my time clicking the thing, cause I am not interested.

Big ratings for the show...a 4.4. They usually draw mid 3s.
This is interesting...the Observer readers are known as smart fans. And here is their result on the biggest star of the RAW years. Here's another reason for HBK to "lose his smile."
Poll on the Greatest Superstar in Raw history
Bret Hart 9.6% HHH 1.5% The Rock 16.7% Vince McMahon 5.9% Steve Austin 57.3% Shawn Michaels 3.7% Undertaker 3.9% Mick Foley 1.3%

The ranking isn't bad, with the exception of Foley who should be higher. HBK would actually be either last or second to last on that list for me, with Undertaker as his chief competition for the bottom spot.
Foley is much more important than that ranking shows. He was the funny man to the Rock's straight man. Same with Austin. Same with McMahon. How many of Raw's greatest moments involved Foley in some capacity?

Balls, stop making speeches. This was a vote between hundreds of wrestling fans who care about it so much they subscribe to a newsletter that costs over $100 for 3 months of issues.
I am with them on the Foley thing, he's a clown. And here's the deal - its not a staggered vote, where you get points from your placing. You vote one time. My vote would also be Austin...how could it not be?
Foley was a clown prince, and as time went on I lost a ton of respect for him. Seems like wrestling fans in the know agree.

And they would be wrong. Foley arguably is in the top 5 when it comes to most important personalities in Raw history.

Eh, he was never a serious character. He was a joke. I put him at the bottom of that list, and I am being honest.

I know there was not a snowball chance in hell of it happening, but for a brief second I was hoping when austin grabbed the mic after it looked like the show was over, he was going to introduce or mention Brett hart
As far as Foley, didn't Mick himself allude to the fact in his second book that he had more or less got more fame out of being a clown then he did as a serious wrestler? Don't, Foley and Rock own the highest segment in Raw history?

Word came out in the days leading into the thing that Hart was not coming, or even appearing on tape. He said as much himself in a couple of places, and while never say never in wrestling Hart is protective enough of his own character/integrity that he would not show if he said he would not be there.
Dont get me wrong, Foley played his part well, but that character does not make him Raws all-time superduperstar. And yes, that Rock/Foley thing is the highest rated segment still.
The one guy I expected to see and did not, and am not happy about that, is Sid.

This Is Your Life the Rock was probably the funniest segment in Raw history. 25 minutes of laughter. It was just brilliant.
I'm not arguing that Foley should be ranked FIRST by any means. He's not. But I would put him in the top 5. His role on that show was vital to its success.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.....hold up!!
Just cause it was the highest rated segment does not mean it was universally praised. When is the last time you saw it? There were some funny moments, but just about everyone agrees it went on 10 minutes too long (something Foley HIMSELF admitted to) and a lot of it fell VERY flat (Rocks teacher, anyone?)
Another funny thing you will notice if you bother to watch it again.....a dead crowd during most of it. People tend to do that when they are bored, or find something that is supposed to be funny, well, not funny.
You really have a warped view of wrestling, bro.
