Like people don't watch tv cause they're having a bbq. And dipshiticus? What the fuck? Shut up already with your lame ass jokes. It's people like you who make other people mutilate small animals.

James.
There's a reason why Sunday night has the most viewers, and Saturday night has the least viewers.
On Saturday night, people are out to dinner, out partying, whatever, because they don't have to work the next day.
On Sunday night, people are home all snuggled on the couch in front of the tube, why? Because they don't go out, because they have to work tomorrow.
When Monday becomes a holiday, then Sunday night, in effect, becomes another Saturday night.
Dipshiticus.

Oh wow I never thought of that. Who knew I'd learn something I never knew from this place.
My point was I get it, I fully grasp the concept of no work mondays, but I still think it's stupid. Hope you taking the time to tell me something pointless which I already knew didn't prevent you from something important.

Any opportunity to point out your Dipshiticusness is important and thus, not pointless.

There are also no elevated trains in Manhattan, yet Spider-Man 2 and The Black Donnellys would have you think otherwise. Clearly you haven't taken the 1 train past 116th street in Manhattan.

When Tony called for a couple of "zips" to come over from Italy to do the job....am I the only one who smelled a possible retrurn of Furio?

i thought furio was gona come back too
as for bobby's death scene, i think it was an aliteration to the "train running off the track"

I thought it was going to be Furio but I remembered Tony said if he came back he was dead. Then when Paulie fucked it up I def knew it was Furio.
Anyone think Syl will make it out of th hospital?

I was actually thinking that it was going to be really LAME if Furio came back and all of a sudden he was Rambo mowing down all of Brooklyn....woulda liked to see Furio back, but that would have been cheesy. I didn't want to see the Soprano's turn into a Stephen Segal movie - "Anyone seen Ritchie? Anyone know why Ritchie whacked Bobby Lupo?"

This is horseshit. The very thing that everyone wanted to see, a full out war between Phil and Tony, is going to be done in two hour long fucking episodes, whereas we had to put up with about seven episodes of Johhnycakes getting his stool pushed in last season.
Fuck this. David Chase can go eat shit.

Interesting take Jackass. Good point about the amount of screentime to this v. Brokeback Gangster.
I also thought of Furio. But Furio wouldn't have fucked up.

I know a lot of people that think like that, can't say I blame them. Just going by this season alone, there have been more set up than payoff episodes, it's being very rushed and feels like it could still go another season, or like jackass said, scrap one storyline and speed up another. When you add in the other shit, like Vito, it makes you wonder if Chase got lazy or something. And I heard that some guys don't even want the show to end(if that's due to a concern thjey won't get work, who knows), it's a big let down to see the show tank like this.

Factoring in the Vito plotline really adds to the disappointment of the last season. But this week's episode was pretty good.

Sure the season dragged a bit, but I don't think they could have fit a war in more than two episodes. It would have taken away the shock factor and we'd see the bums we don't give a shit about being killed. This way it's fast and it's meaningful. Bobby and Syl get tagged and you're left wondering what's going to happen in the last episode. If it took a few episodes, you'd know there would be more killing because there was time to waste, thus you would be knowing and waiting instead of not expecting.

A mafia war in two episodes? Spanning in Soprano land, maybe, a week, week and a half? I don't think that's realistic, even if Broolyn considers New Jersey a glorified crew. And sure there's the wondering of how it's gonig to end, cause it's the last one. With what happened last night, you think you they couldn't have done this three episodes earlier and stretch it out? It's a mafia war in two episodes and that's not rushed?

LOL What the hell! Some of the scenes were like watching Scary Movie. Phil gets popped and his head gets crunched under the tire as a crowd of black guys look on and goes "OOOOOOHHHH!!"
I mean, really.

I hated the way it went black in the middle of a scene. Just let Meadow walk in and sit down with the family. Don't leave everyone wondering what the weird fuck in the trucker hat, or the other weird fuck who left the counter for the bathroom, were up to, if anything. Don't start something with two minutes left.

Seriously... WTF.
When it went black, I screamed at Dave, assuming he accidentally hit the remote.

I screamed at my wife as well.... she actually fell asleep during last nights finale... I thought that she had moved and changed the channel as well... Needless to say i was 12 seconds away from SCREAMING at Directv for blacking out the ending (in which i was tivo'ing).
The ending was EXACTLY like i expected. They did a full 360. All characters and music selection led me to believe that the finale wasn't going to be anything special. While i am glad that Phil finally got what he deserved.. The truck running over his grille piece was terrific.
The part that i thought was odd was Tonys visit to see Uncle June. WTF was that all about?

Fuck Chase and his draw your own conclusion malarky. I'm really hoping for a movie now cause they set up storylines as if th series were still going on, Paulie turning down Tony, Meadow and Patsy jrs wedding etc. and stuff like with Uncle June, where was that all going, what was it for? Melfi makes no comeback and who knows what happens at the diner with Tony and his family. Fucking assholes. I'm still fucking pissed b ut I wouldn't wanna see him get clipped anyway.

Hearing, from all accounts, the finale sucked. Glad I didnt waste 10 years investing in this show.
I hate open-ended endings. When I watch something, I dont want to think about what I believe happened. I dont want to draw my own conclusions. Wrap the Goddamned thing up, a-holes. Thats why its called a SERIES FINALE.
Terrible.
