Nothing wrong with Bob Holly--if you like midcarders.
Wrestling is not baseball. And Bob Holly has never been a main eventer.

Without midcarders, you dont have wrestling.
For a guy who sucks off Deuce and Domino and Chris Masters, you have a lot of nerve cracking on Hardcore Holly, who made more money since January first than you will make all year.

That's like saying you were the highest rated show on UPN. It doesn't mean anything because no one is watching any of the other shows. They aren't?

BSG's ratings are garbage when compared to the rest of television. There's a big difference between good for Sci-Fi Channel, and good.

Well, it's a phenomenal show, it made the Sci Fi Channel the #1 cable network on Friday nights, and the network execs love it. It's also developing a huge cult following, which is growing. Rightfully so, because it's even able to draw viewers who aren't die hard Sci Fi fans.
You don't compare ratings of anything and everything. Nothing is ever compared to 'the rest of television'. If you did that then you can say The Daily Show is horseshit because it's ratings aren't the same as American Idol's.
Sci-Fi seems to be happy with ECW also.

That's because it's doing better than most of the crap on that channel. BSG's ratings have declined, which is a big reason they moved the show to Sundays. Be careful with that show though. Sci-Fi tends to cancel shows out of the blue, and they end on cliffhangers, pissing off long time fans. It's already happened twice.

Because it happened to blah shows. Farscape was run-of-the-mil. I'm not even sure what the other show was, and honestly, good shows getting the axe early don't happen THAT often. And the key word was ' #1 cable network', as in it was beating things on other cable channels, not what's on it's network.
There is no way they are dropping this show. I understand the move also, because the viewer demographic is young, and that's a group who tend to go out on Fridays. No one really goes out on Sunday, and thus, you can sneak the show on a day when people are at home being lazy.
They are planning a DVD movie, then another season. This isn't going anywhere.

Farscape was hardly run of the mill. It was original, it was fun, and it was a damn good show. The other show was Sliders.
It may not be going anywhere now, but it could end up being screwed over.

Well, Sliders was original, but it grew long in the tooth. Five seasons isn't that short of a run, and if I'm not mistaken the cast was changed, which almost always spells doom for a show.
Farscape did seem to end abruptly, since it had a following that Galactica has now. If I'm not mistaken, the high costs of the show's effects led the network to seek higher ratings, which led them to tweak it, and ruin it totally. It wasn't BAD, it just didn't give me anything new. There was a huge mess behind that show.
They don't have to worry about this with ECW, because Vince pretty much pays for everything. It's not taking any money out of Sci Fi's pocket to make it, thus, they like it. Battlestar doesn't have the mess behind it that Farscape did, and they also plan on running a prequel mini-series around it, so I guess it's not going anywhere.

Sliders was actually either the highest or second highest rated show on Sci-Fi when it was canned. So was Farscape. Farscape was actually promised two seasons, and Sci-Fi yanked it just before the first of those 2 seasons was finished. The writers weren't able to change anything, so it ended on a cliffhanger.
Sliders also was a victim of not knowing until the last minute.
Sliders never got a proper resolution. At least with Farscape, they managed to do a miniseries a couple years later, but too little, too late.
I'm definitely not a fan of Sci-Fi Channel because of their stupidity.
Expect something similar with BSG when it runs its course.

Well, I doubt that since they seem to have planned ahead for this show. This show has the ability to reach a broader audience, and it's getting more popular. I really don't think they are pulling the plug on this.
Nor will they pull the plug on ECW, a show that gets them cash for nothing, really.

Sci-Fi has shows like Manimal and other shows with giant slugs that have fangs and stuff.

I don't know. I'm sure they plan it out, but that doesn't really matter, if the plug gets pulled before they are ready. Maybe they are planning on ending the show two years from now. They write the show so that next year sets up the year after, with a kickass cliffhanger. Then Sci-Fi inexplicably pulls the plug. They're screwed.
That's exactly what happened to Farscape.

Yes, but as I explained, there was a huge mess behind Farscape, and it went over budget and botched. It doesn't seem like they are making the same mistake with this one. Hell, they are talking about making a prequel spin off. Why would they abruptly axe it, especially after the backlash they got from Farscape?
Won't happen. ECW will also keep it's slot until Vince pulls the plug, which won't happen as long as people watch.

What happened with Farscape, and Sliders, was all due to Sci-Fi Channel, not the shows themselves.
Networks do stupid things. This network has a history of it. The Sliders debacle also had a lot of backlash, and then they turned around and did the same thing to Farscape.

And, from what I can tell, they are not doing this to BSG.
Sci Fi is not owned by the same people that owned it back when Sliders and Farscape was on. If I'm not mistaken, it's run by NBC, which are doing a good job with BSG, Dr. Who, Heroes, and trying to get the Dresden files rolling. Chances are this will continue on, and not see abrupt cancellation.

And Bob Holly has never been a main eventer.
Balls I beg to differ I was at the Royal Rumble in Philly a few years ago (the one Benoit won) and who got a Smackdown title shot vs. Brock at that time after a push...Hardcore Holly...Just setting the record straight as I agree Holly is a mid carder

One title shot doesn't make you a main eventer.

He was also built up before that and if you are in the main event you are a main eventer..lol

A main eventer sustains it. He was Sparky Plug and hung out with Al Snow.

I actually enjoyed that match between Holly and Brock, although people everywhere were lining up to crap all over it. It was a hard-hitting match.

Only one will. Taker will beat Batista. Cena will retain, he is the WWE's golden child.

Yeah, Cena is in his prime and will be the next guy to be a Rock/Austin/Hogan type celeb. Batista still gets pops but he is and will never be the same star.
If Cena is going to lose the belt, it's going to be in a good way to progress a storyline, and not on the biggest stage.

By the time Mania rolls around Batista will be a major heel, believe me. As to Cena/Michaels, that will be a battle of respect that won't likely involve a turn.

Cena is not a Rock/Hogan/Austin level wrestler, no matter how much the WWE forces him down the throats of the audience.
