remember you said you thought he improved a lot from the past recently
I never ever said any such thing. Frankly, its not true. If anything, he has REGRESSED. He never got better. And now, pushing 40 years old, he never will.
I have the right to defend myself, cause the things you said I said about him make me look like a Batista mark or something. And I certainly am not.

That you're fair on him? For all the bashing I do of him, you'll point out his limited upside. I never implied you're a mark, you took it that way. How you go from pretty fair to mark? My point is you won't throw him under the bus as badly as the internet guys etc. Thats all I said. But go ahead and throw words into mouth think I said something other than i actually did. Go read my original post, all I said is you were the only one, around here at least, who aren't as down on him as others. Never said you were a fan or collected posters and action figures, just that you were fair on him. Didn't think that was that far off from the truth.

Well, one thing we do is what is, and what is not, the final match on the card...
This was culled from wrestleview.com, referencing an article on si.com...
Batista also reveals in the article how he was upset to discover that the World Title Match would not be the Main Event of WrestleMania 23 this year, as John Cena defending the WWE Title against Shawn Michaels will end the show. "As of right now we're not in the main event, which breaks my heart, but wherever we are on the card I feel sorry for the match that has to follow us. When we found out that we wouldn't be the main event we both looked at each other and we knew what we had to do."

It may break his heart, but if he really cares he'll make sure people remember his match. just like HBK/razor, SAvage/Steamboat and a shitload of other matches that didnt end the show but are still classics. thing is that probly wont happen as Bastita adn taker may suck real bad with only Kahil vs kane being worse

worse 3 matches are: 1) Diva match, the divas on the outside make a spectacle of it, but take away the lumberjills and you have bad in ring work. 2) Khali/Kane. Enough said. Then lastly would be Taker and Batista, not great, but much better than the last two combined.
I know I picked some long shots. Honestly, the ladder match runs a high chance of being a sloppy spot fest.

I think Batista and Taker will put on a good match. Taker is a good worker, and this match will be very hard-hitting. The divas match will be worth a few chuckles. I am very happy they added the Lumber-Jills. I agree the ladder match has the potential to be schmazz. I just hope Kennedy wins the day.
Very much looking forward to Mania. My oft-PPV buddy Midget Mike will be sharing a chair, drinks, and laughs, and Grover - who I have not seen a wrestling show with in 4 years, after watching 2 a week for just as long, will be joining us. Can't wait. Digging out some great pre-show stuff, as well. Joy will be flooding the room.

Tap out!
Way to go, James. Your boy quit. What a loser. You need to stop rooting for this also-ran. First you lick his nuts and Hogan pins him clean, and then you slobber his balls and Cena makes him QUIT!
All done!

It was no shock who was winning that match, especially aftyer the kick monday. They had to give Cena the win at Mania but the rematch at backlash should go the other way.
Tom, you're just mad all of your favorite wrestlers are either on bad terms with Vince, retired, or dead. My favorite is still in title match main events at Mania. Be jealous.

i thought the Show was decent, had its highs and lows but a pretty good show.Best matches were the Money In the bank, and Cenavs HBK. Taker vs Bastita was way better then i Expected. I was Diggin the ECW Old vs New match, But that really should have been Extreme Rules.I found it very strange to See The Sandman Dreamer, and Sabu in such a big Venue.Dissapointed that MVP didnt take the strap, and felt that match could have been a lilttle bit better.Umaga Vs lashely It self was wasnt that great but it was fun to see thses Big guys Take Foley-like Bumps to the floor.Trump looked like he DIdnt give a shit at all. after all that mabey the Highlight of the Night was seeing Slick that came outta no where

The show was decent. If I got it by myself, I would have been mad. Since I got it with people and we split the price, then that aspect flew out of my mind and I was able to enjoy it as is.
Speaking with Sancho about it, we agree that the Umaga/Lashley match would have been a train wreck no matter who they put in there. There was too many hijinks going on, such as taking a few minutes to get Shane to do his across the ring jump. I'm not the biggest Lashley fan in the world but I know he can put on a better match than that.

If he's going to work better matches, he needs to dump the bulldog powerslam finisher. This isn't 92 or 93. I don't know, to me he's too green to be able to judge how well he can do. He's a blacker, weaker, way worse version of Brock. With a way crappier move set.

I like the powerslam. That's a perfect move for him. He'll get better.

I hated Brock Lesnar. Lashley doesn't bother me nearly as much. I'm just tired of Umaga, who truly stinks.

I guess the power slam would work if he had something to set it up. Kindof like Monty Browns running shoulder tackle, by itself it looks weak, but with a set up could be good. I like the finisher be able to have the ability to come ut of left feild. When you see Stevie Richards up on Lashleys shoulder, you knows it's over cause its Stevie, but ok here copmes he i wanna be davey Boy power slam which doesn't work now. 20 years ago, a leg drop had little kids shitting their pants and me vomitting. How do you from leg drop, to sharpshooter, to super kick, to stunner and pedigree and now the big rising stats signature move is a move from 14 years ago? It's weak. Yeah it compliments his whole stronger the a ox thing, but I don't find it beleivable that Miz could take that and not kick out from it.
Hey Balls, queston, who's worse, Khali or Umaga? stop complaining about good workers and iron man matches. Leave the in ring psychology to the real wrestling fans. If you flip through the channels I think Shatner is hosting a telethon.

Well Lashley does a spear also right? That is his set up I think.

Well Edge does one too, I don't see that as being so speacial, when a guy whos smaller gets wins with it easier.

Shatner hosting a telethon is more exciting than an Umaga match. Khali sucks too, but at least he has the monster thing going for him. It's more believable that he could be an unstoppable monster than a fat slob who has a super evil thumb for a finisher.
The only Samoan wrestler I think is talented is Samoa Joe.

I think Lashey was better of using the old Dominater finish that Farooq used to do. but his BullDog Running Power slam is fine. why does every finish for a new guy have to be a double flippliy flop splash or a superduper backflip powerbomb? It fukin Kills me today when marks talk about "Move-set" like its a fuckin videogame.Remember folks most of the time less is more

Um, a stunner or rock bottom isn't exactly a video game move, but still better than a powerslam. And I'm not saying he should use a stunner or anything, just saying a move doesn't have to be death defying, just more believable than a power slam. I'm fine with it has a set up move, but with the way shit is now, you need a more belieable move to put someone away, to make it seem like they person is knocked out enough for three count. Sorry people don't go ooh and ahh for vertical suplexes like when you were a kid. With UFC and youtube, a power slam doesn't give the impression someone couldn't kick out of it by three.

if they buld the mover up and guys sell it, the fans will get it and buy it. Lashely is being pushed as a big time Power-house, why shouldnt he have a strong Powerbased finish?Id say he should use a powerbomb, but thats taken. And what the fuck does UFC and youtube have to do with the believabily of A Powerslam? if Youtube and UFC affected fans nobody would watch wrestling cause most aspects of wrestling are not that beliveable at all

The point of selling is to make a move seem like it hurt them. Remember when Vince didn;t let anhyone under 6'7 win the title? He didn't think it would look like a smaller guy could hurt a bigger guy. Kind of the same thing. With so much other "sports entertainment" out and coming out, a basic move, and that's what a powerslam is, basic, doesn't ork. It doesn't look good, the crowd doesn't pop, and it makes other guys look weak. I agree he should use the dominator more.
I'm drawing a blank, who else does a powebomb, just taker right? But he lifts him up more, the last ride or some shit. I would like it if Lashley used a regular powerbomb, Maybe almost like Nash's. That would be a major improvment from the running slam.

Well, since Hogan's run, there have been more people under 6'7 with the title than over 6'7. Austin, Angle, Edge, Guerrero, Mysterio, Rock, HBK, Flair, HHH, Hart: all under 6'7. Sure there are those who are taller who had it, you get the point.
And the reason the powerslam works better than the powerbomb for Lashley is because it's a bit more of a power display with him carrying a guy around for a few seconds than the quick powerbomb. Plus, the powerbomb is riskier, and Lashley might not be good at it.

But if he's SOOOO STROOONG why can't he powerbomb anyone? He stinks, that's why. He's the black Lex Luger, office boy being shoved down our throats not worth anything, horrible in the ring and 10X worse on the stick.

He probably could powerbomb someone easy. He looks better with the powerlsam though. There have been more guys with powerbomb finishers (Undertaker and Nash to name two, Batista's finisher is a powerbomb also.) in recent years than there have been guys with powerslams, and you kind of want to distance yourself with those guys since they are still fresh in the mind of the fans. You give Lashley a powerbomb finisher and fans go "Hey that's like Batista!" but not many will go "Hey that's just like the British Bulldog!"
