Today I went to Blockbuster and rented "Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie" and "Pride and Prejudice."
The man of the house will be thrilled. : )

speaking of Bill Murray flicks....I saw "Broken Flowers" about a month and a half ago....I generally like Murray but this movie didn't really make it for me. Had an abrupt ending leaving me with a with a lot of questions.

I took my boys to see Everyone's Hero yesterday. The movie about Babe Ruth's bat being stolen. I enjoyed it, as did my boys.

You should have taken Metssuckballs. He has been talking about it since it came out. As for me, I dont want to see no flick where Whoopi Goldberg does the voice of a bat.

I shall rent when it hits the stores. My daughter is banned from the movies for the time being. Her behavior at the movies has been abhorrent.

I'm not saying this about Emma, just made me think of the little kids by my movies and stuff. When the little kids go nuts at the movies, I feel like dropping a bowling ball on their tiny little toes. They run around, scream, walk into starngers and smile like it's not a bother. Same at the mall too. I'm not making a comparison betweenn the savages and Emma, but around me, the little bastards need leashes and muzzles. The parents around here don't even care either. They just say the childs name in a very mellow tone, Bobby, knock it off, but there's no thrat in it so the kids keep doing it. The kids needs muzzles and asshole parents need to be stungunned. Just my opinion. I cant wait for the day some parent isn't paying attention and their kids gets their clothes stuck in the escalator. I saw this one kid once get his hand stuck behind the automatic sliding doors. The parent is yelling at the kid with their hand trapped, you should be more careful. You should have been watching your kid you dumb mother fucker. That's the kind of shit that goes on, it's sickening.

Yeah, well the difference between me and Dana and the parents of those other little wretches is that we would not take Emma to a movie that isnt pretty much catered to the likes of her. The only movies she has gone to see were Cars and some other animated flick with her Mom. Both times was during a weekday afternoon. First trip to the movies there were 4 other people in the whole theatre. I was not there for that one. Last time, we saw Cars, and it was all families. My daughter was only one of many kids who were out of control.
You probably would not need to worry about running into us and our daughter at any movie that you would be going to see.

I know, I wasn't saying anything about, what you said just triggered that feeling I get like Im at Chucky Cheece. It just amazes me the parents that AREN'T like you and let the kids rape and pillage. There's really some horrible parents. But it is kinda tough because while I don't want little knee biters going ape shit, I also hate seeing parents really scold and put down their kids telling them to shut their mouth. It's like parents either don't discipline or don't know how to.Yeah they're kids and they get excited going to certain places. I just don't know whos more out of control, the kids or the deadbeat parents. That;'s how it is by where I live at least.

I took my two-year old son to see Cars, and he was into it for about 30 minutes, then started fidgeting (“what constitutes a fidget” - Tony Soprano) and making noise. I immediately took him outside, while my girlfriend and 7 year old daughter remained inside. After about 10 minutes of pacing around outside the theatre, he became tired, I took him back into the movie and in about 10 minutes he was asleep.
I have been known to abandon half-eaten meals in restaurants, leave movies, leave stores even though I haven't made my purchases, in the name of courtesy to society at large, when my son (as well as my daughter when she was younger) acts up in public. I wish more parents would do the same. I resent the bad name that parents of young children get by the bad apples who feel the world owes them a living for bringing their little "angels" into the world and that society must indulge their little cuties' bratty behavior and that we all have to sign on to the belief that their kids are the most adorable creatures to walk the earth. Nothing annoys me more than when a kid is a brat in public and the parent gives you that smile that says, "isn't he/she so cute...dontcha just love it?"

Cho nailed it, some parents act like their kid is always the best and so cute screaming like a maniac, but when some other persons kids do it, they get all pissed. and give looks They say shit like aren;t kids the best, aren't they special, I really just wanna rear back and punch some mothers in the mouth. "Isn't my kid so cute"? No they're fucking hideous monsters that should have been a thick cakey cluster on your back you oblivous, insensitive bitch. Snooty parents bother me.

This was a really good movie....definite sleeper. It's not gonna change anyone's life, but definitely worthy of a high ranking spot on your Netflix queue. The really funny thing about this movie is that, although Christopher Walken's and the Johnny Doyle character were not related in the movie, if there were EVER a movie in which they needed a younger version of Christopher Walken (kind of like a Godfather/Brando/DeNiro situation) this guy Mars Callahan has it nailed - from the funky hair right down to the speech patterns.

I saw Jackass 2 today. I loved it, it was fucking nonstop hilarity boys and girls. If you enjoy Jackass then see this movie. The one part I couldn't watch was Steve O hooking his mouth with a fish hook and swiming with sharks. Just seeing that shit through his cheek I had to watch the bit through my fingers.

Saw Gridiron Gang over the weekend. Not bad, not great. Pretty much every cliche you would expect from the commercial. The most interesting part was at the end when they showed the real people. Seems much of the dialogue was taken from a documentary on the same team.

Took my boys to see "Open Season" today, fell asleep about 3 times. It sucks, except for Gary Sinise playing the crazed hunter.

I saw THE MARINE over the weekend. If you are a wrestling fan, even if you hate John Cena, I recommend this movie.
If you like action movies like Commando and Die Hard, I recommend this movie.
It sucked, but it sucked in a funny way. I haven't laughed this hard at an action movie since Vin Diesel's XXX. The opening shot is a five second shot of Cena in a Marine uniform by a flag. Then he salutes. Not part of the movie, just standing next to the words: THE MARINE.
I knew I was in for an entertaining hour and a half, and the movie didn't disappoint. Great comedy.

Movie is an early flop. Finished 6th on the weekend, an it averaged $2,750 per theater, which was the lowest of the four major movies that opened over the weekend. Considering the money put into this movie (including advertising during the MLB playoffs) things are not looking good for the fiscal boon of The Marine.
No, won't be seeing it, MSB review and all.

Your loss. This was the best one star movie I've seen in a long time. He was The Marine. An ex-Marine. Drummed out of the core against his will for disobeying a direct order. But in doing so, he saved the lives of other Marines. Then the T-1000 kidnapped his wife. But they didn't realize that they kidnapped the wife of a Marine. An ex-Marine. With nothing to lose.

LOL at him still being called the T1000. It's either that or Doggett for me. Yeah this gets the wait for video nod from me. Thy're other bad movies out I'd see before that.
when is the Pick of Destiny starring Tenacious D coming out?

He will always be the T-1000. He should be required to legally change his name to T-1000.

Ok, so this may rile some people up, but after seeing all these commercials for this Scarface video game, I realize one of the reasons I have never bothered to watch Scarface. This "accent" that Tony Montana is doing is REEEEE-DICULOUS. Its the fakest movie accent I have ever heard. I cant help but snicker when I hear it. I could not IMAGINE sitting through a whole movie with that. Whats funny is cause its Al Pacino or whoever it is, they get a pass and everyone licks his sack, but it Heath Ledger or someone did that today, they would be laughed out of the theatre.
"Say Hello to my little friend" indeed! Why dont you get a real accent, you putz.
