And I thought that you were the champion drinker. Well, I guess that it takes a man to admit that he drank Zina

And sorta liked it! Next time you see the infamous "Girardi triple" that shook the Stadium in the World Series, think about how at that second Tom was standing there stonefaced, too drunk on Zima to move, yet alone cheer.
The only phase I regret more was my "Tequiza" phase. Anyone remember that abomination of a drink?

I honestly dont know what I was thinking. That stuff made me nasty too. I would finish a bottle and then throw it against a wall, sending exploding glass everywhere, being mad for no reason. Well, maybe I was mad cause I knew I was drinking slop.
Oh well.

Would a champion drinker get KO'ed as many times as he has?

Oh. My. God.
Well, we took the jump. Watched this tonight. I had some Oatmeal Stout. Could have used something harder.
Geez, where do I start. Well, first off, Doherty looks busted. Beat up from the feet up. Had to love the Sheriff with the jacket that was too small. It did not even go past his waist.
How bout that scene where the kid was propping up on his back to trim the tree...uh, the tree was only like 7 feet tall. The Sheriff could have decorated it standing up.
One hoot of a scene was the tourists, when that guy pointed up that the sun finally came up, causing much celebration. But when they panned up, it was like a sunny sky that would have taken hours to accomplish. They just noticed that then??? And then the others were hugging this guy who seconds before was hoarding all their peanuts.
I dont even want to get into the fallacy about the "diamond being returned, the charges dropped, and she working for the police."
Had to love the look of disgust on the Sheriffs face when it was implied the black guy was her ex. He also snapped, "no way" at one point, going on nothing but the fact that the guy was black.
Anyone like Duffy?
Did you notice those commercials for "Sons of Mistletoe?" They were selling a movie with 3 seconds of preview, showing some dude telling a kid he is his Dad, and the kid looking surprised, but pleasantly so. And people opening presents.
What a terrible flick. But a worthy pick for what we were trying to accomplish here.

OK, I waited for someone else to eat this turd before admitting that I sat through almost 90 minutes of this crapola.
My wife who is a Shannon fan, agreed to watch this with me, but bagged after about a half an hour.
She really did look busted didn't she? Shannon looked like she was drunk or stoned or both most of the time...the celebration scene was a joke - you'd thnk they got no direction in that scene except 'act stupid'
Cripes, that was bad one.....

LOL - did you make it through the whole thing?
I just thought of another whopper - the "prom" scene. How the Sheriff went back and set up a whole prom scene to woo her back.
Yeah, terrible....hey, tonight there is not one, but TWO giant squid movies...7PM and 9PM.....DVRing them both.....I wont make this an official edict, but feel free to join me in these!

Truth be told, I lost patience before Christmas Eve, but I still had it on while I was on the computer. The kids annoyed me - little shit actors.
Funny! Like minds..........Not just two squid flicks, there is Mosquito - about.....you guessed it.... giant mosquitos. AND Swarm - nuff said. It's a crap-fest worthy of my participation. For the hearty, there are really BAD movies running on Sci-Fi from 7pm until 4am. Take that Sundance channel.

Top to bottom this whole movie was garbage. Her horse teeth were very distracting. Along with her "partner" who lived at a department store. The prom scene and the parents being stuck in a hurricane that lasted for 4-5 days made me want to vomit. Especially the fat guy with the peanuts. Let's return the diamond and go work for the cops! On a scale of 1 to 10 this movie was a -10000. Kudos, Tom, this movie could win an Oscar for "worst everything"

How bout near the end when she and the black guy were returning the stolen gifts, and she asked him if he was going by the list, and he said, "I checked it twice." Ha, ha! Oh, and during the scene where they showed a montage of everyone opening the wrong gifts there was funny music playing. I guess we were supposed to laugh at Christmas' ruined, and money thrown down the toilet. Yeah, really "feel-good" stuff there!
She really looked bad. I mean, did I miss something, was she not considered a sex symbol at one point?
I am still laughing at the Sheriffs stupid short jacket.

I was able to explain away the Coors Light. In the bin by the lobby all they have are the standards. Coors Light is the lesser of a bunch of evils for me.

Ok, just throwing this one out there. Its already on our DVR for future viewing, I am hoping a brave soul will join us...
OGRE!
Yes, another Sci-Fi classic.
Here's your plot folks..."Hikers happen upon a cursed village, whose denizens are indebted to an ogre, just in time for the yearly sacrifice."
Its new! 2008 production. Starring John Schneider. Anyone? Hello?
THURSDAY NIGHT - 7PM, SCI-FI!!!!!!!!!!!

Since it is that time of year again, anyone up for a crappy Christmas movie? My wife got an issue of people Saturday, and it has an ad from one of those women's cable channels with an entire listing of their holiday fare.

Im all for it. Lets start kicking around some ideas.
I realized last week we passed on "Holiday in Handcuffs" last year, which sadly is NOT a naughty flick. I think Mario Lopez is in it.

Actually I think we left you hung out to dry on that one - it was on the list, and we never got around to seeing it. You took a big bullet on that one.
There is a lot of Christmas trash on coming up. We'll kick some of the ideas around, settle on one, get some beer, and do it.

I've taken more bullets on crappy holiday movies than Tony Montana at the end of Scarface since my wife is a nut.
Any lifetime movie will do...

Ok, I got a good possibility here. Let me know if this works. It obviously looks wretched, and its one the kids can get involved in.
RICHIE RICH'S CHRISTMAS WISH
From 1998. Starring David Gallagher (Simon from Seventh Heaven) and Martin friggin' Mull. Heres the sketchy plot.
"Richie makes a wish and ends up in an alternate universe where his evil cousin Reggie is in charge and wants to cancel Christmas."
This gem is on ABC Family this coming Saturday morning at 10:30 AM, and runs to 12:30. Thankfully some commercials will take up some of that time. We can all DVR it and watch it in, say, the next week or so after that.
Whatcha think? Mass? Cho? BALLS?

What happened with this? I dont think it recorded on mine, I need to doublecheck. Most importantly, do NOT watch yet. I dont want you to take the grenade yourself! Oh, and make sure to log in here at least once a day for now so we can get a movie locked and loaded, if its this one or no.

Ok, let me know if you DVRd, I need to check mine. I checked TVGUIDE.com for another airing just in case I flubbed, and its not on again until 12/22. That may be waiting too long, as things will get really cluttered come then. You may need to jettison this one, and we will need to start anew.

MassYanks, did you see this Richie Rich movie, or have it available? Replay is this morning, and I am burning on the DVR. WIth the hoilday and our upcoming move it may be a hard task, but I am not ruling this out if you have seen it...

I think we may have to fold this tent, at least in regards to a holiday flick. I think we'll pick this back up in early January, hunt a bad movie out. I already deleted Richie Rich, to open up space to DVR Extreme Trains last night, I was running at 97% on the DVR!
With our move this week, things have been all askew. Tonight we have a family dinner, tomorrow is Christmas, and who wants to watch an bad Christmas movie AFTER Christmas!
I say kill Richie Rich, and we'll touch base when this week is over and get this rubber back on the road.
