GUTTERMOUTH - Friday night at Venezia Bar And Grill THE NEW YORK DOLLS - Sunday Anaheim House of Blues (ps - the wife and I sat next to Blackie Lawless in the balcony)

Yeah, and he looked like shit! He might not be a bad choice for Death Pool.

He looked like shit 20 years ago, when W*A*S*P was actually popular.

Saw Stiff Little Fingers last night. Awesome show. These guys are old but not tired. They played all the old stuff, the House Of Blues sound was outstanding - one of the loudest shows I remember in a long time but the levels between instruments and vocals were all in balance....just a top notch performance.

I saw Santana, last Wednesday and when you see a person like that perform, you feel like there's gods walking among us. I highly recommend anyone to see him live, you won't regret it

I have heard that about old Carlos. I never saw Santana, never liked them enough to do so, but I did run into him on the street. Going into Generation Records here in the Village, he was in there with a stack of CDs for purchase. After he picked them out he left them with an assistant / lackey to buy while he puffed on a cigar out in the front. People were waving at him timidly.

Tom go, You'll enjoy him and I don't why but he always has fine woman at the show, plus the guy does have a repertoire of hits going all the way back to 60's

I got my tickets for Pennywise and Strung Out in NYC (5/31). Looking forward to it. Only my 2nd show of the year. Can't do it as much as I'd like and there's a lot of good shows this summer, and not of the festival sort.

Much better show than I expected, considering all the concerts and legs of the tour that have been postponed. All classics. Very solid show. I'd never seen Van Halen with David Lee Roth -- saw VH once with Sammy Hagar and hated it, and saw David Lee Roth's band a couple of times (remember "Yankee Rose?").

My Name Is Earl was hilarious last week.
I'm gonna go put some Van Halen on the Juke Box.
--E9 is Runnin' With The Devil
Oh, no no, I mean REAL Van Halen, with Sammy Hagar...........hey this juke box is great. They even have some Lynard Skynard from AFTER the plane crash.

When we got home last night it was late and I was recording two shows at the same time, so I had to pop in a DVD. The DVD that got the call? STYX AND REO SPEEDWAGON, from 2003. Fun show! Dana and I saw them locally around that time, touring around with Journey!

I saw Disturbed Monday Night at the House of Blues with Blue Lou in Atlantic City.......Fantastic show and despite Tom's claims, very Un-Stained like.........Played just two from the new CD (since it is not released yet - they played the two released singles) and then all their hits...One hour twenty of pure power in am intimate setting and the audience was jacked..Great show!!!!

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Giants Stadium. Going tonight and Thursday, as well. Last night was one of the better Springsteen shows I've attended. Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out as the opener, closed with Rosalita. Tons of energy. Fired up for tonight.

Weezer at the Garden last week. It was my first show inside MSG so I enjoyed it, except for the 10 mins I caught of Angels and Airwaves, they blow. But Weezer was very good although I was pissed they didn't play 3 songs I thought they would have. Either way, a good drunken time was had.

I use the term "band" loosely.
Last night I took my wife to the KNOTB reunion, Donnie Walberg wore sparkly pants and a sparkly Red Sox cap. He ran a whole lotta Boston Sports trash talking throughout the night.
What a dick.
Although, being a Laker hater myself, and the fact that this show was at Staples center, I thought this was pretty funny...."You guys may have missed out on a party back in June thanks to five guys from Boston....but tonight you're gonna party...blah blah blah something or other....with five other guys from Boston."

Let me know what you think of MUNICIPAL WASTE if you catch their set. A whole heap of folks have told me the band is right up my alley.

They're playing early and I doubt I'll be there in time for them, but I'll let you know.
Just found out that TSOL cancelled; not happy about that.

That looks like a GREAT show Domi, is that a tour, or a one time thing?

Anti Nowhere League is, on any given day, in my top 5 all-time favorites list.
Domi, do not miss them. They are outstanding live....great fucking raunchy rude, crude, and lewd band.

The Casualties and the Horror Pops, absolutely SUCK ASS! They are indicative of what has gone wrong with punk rock - those lame bands might as well be sponsored by Hot Topic.
