I would never want to join another league. I could not keep up on so many different teams, made up of different cogs. I like having the one team, knowing who I have (and in a lot of cases who the teams I am fighting with for a session or a spot in the standings have) and following that.
I give a heap of credit to those who are successful at juggling multiple teams, but that would drive me crazy.

I did 4 different leagues a few years ago, and while you become completely, blissfully immersed in the baseball world, it is also completely unmanageable unless you have a desk job with TONS of free time to surf the web. If you have the time, multiple leagues can make managing each other easier, because you are closely following more players.
One league is hard enough to manage if you don't have much time on the internet that is not work/school related...

So Knoblauch finally put a lineup in there.
I'm going to alter from the 2006 stats for Seth McClung, who is the Devil Rays' closer. From what I'm hearing, his hold on the job isn't exactly strong, and he ain't Mo.
I did a quick research on him, and it sounds like he will be on a short leash and given that he's on Knoblauch's team and Knoblauch is a jinx, I will only give him 150 points.
If the guy holds the job all year long, he would get 250 at least, but I'm not confident enough to make that call.
Meanwhile, I will bump Tim Hudson up to 300 points. He's been in a general decline, but he's just not that old, and he could have a rebound year. In the light most favorable to Knoblauch, giving Tim Hudson numbers similar to 2005 is NOT that tall of an order.
So with that in mind, using the lineup Knoblauch currently has in, he projects at 7023 points.
Objectively, it seems that a lot of teams are close and in contention. Some people are going to have injuries and do much worse. Others are going to make good moves and do better. Some people are starting with injuries on the bench and in the end, will replace shit players for better ones.
And Neil has Kei Igawa.

Marc .... you should put the standings (as per your predictions) so we could see how accurate they are when the season is over.... that will be interesting

Keep in mind Jose, a lot of teams are within 100 points of each other, so when reality hits, and people start making moves, the standings may not end up that accurate. Larry finishing near the bottom when his team projects to be the best by a good amount would be a surprise, unless injuries really hit home or Larry does some stupid things.
In the end, it's a good preseason preview, but it doesn't matter.

I agree with Balls. I think you're going to finish near the bottom, Jose. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if you were relegated.
