That's understandable. Day after wrestlemania, Hart thank you speech, HBK farewell speech. Results for those who didn't get it and don't read sites. Taped show, no Hogan You forgot a couple

Ahh, forgot it was taped.
There is no panic just yet. They JUST started out, and you have to know that it was going to take a bit to draw some viewers. Russo needs to sort things out, and they need to make the old guys the background players.

They must be getting their asses handed to them. Better to look bad now and control the damage than keep your pride in check and continue the bleeding.

They were getting their asses handed to them, yes. Though when you combine the poor first-run rating on Mondays with a strong replay rating on Thursday, more people may be watching TNA programming weekly than ever.
Im down on this for a few reasons, including the fact that I enjoy live wrestling programming more than canned taped episodes, and without competition on Mondays Raw can simply go back to being stale again.

Too bad they never picked it up, which means it will stay bland.

Must be, no they are or were getting their asses handed to them. I'll give you a hint how bad it is. WWE RAW AM which is on USA at 2am on sunday morning, was most weeks getting higher ratings then Impact. Think about that a program at 2 am, is getting better ratings then Impact that's on primetime

True, but again, combine the two ratings and you get a very good rating. Its just that many people chose not to follow TNA to Mondays. They are insisting they are going on "feedback" and people hated the move. Its more than that, its ratings drubbings. But watch, they will go back to Thursdays, and get a good rating.
Balls, going live is much more expensive, and it also prevents any sort of production edits / rewrites. But its basically the expense. By taping shows in advance, weeks at a time, they save a Hell of a lot of money.

Well that's a spin, btw less then a 2 rating combined for 4 hours of prime time programing is not good number
