I'm not aware of any releases of this specific show, but it's possible they may have thrown an episode or two in one of the other cartoon releases as an extra. They do that sometimes. But it doesn't look like there are any releases of the show. There was actually another Spider-man series that aired around the same time, but didn't air in the US. Same animation, but no Iceman and Firestar. Check out this site: www.spider-friends.com/

Wow, he caught him with his own kick! Shocking. That has to be the biggest shock in ages, mabe even bigger than Silva losing to Henderson in Pride. WOW!

I thought Cro Cop was in good shape, he left a welt the size of a belt on Gonzagas ribcage but got taken down, but had pretty good d. Got hit with a few elbows but other than that, nothing was happeneing. When the ref stood them up, I knew the KO was coming. I think Cro Cop is still in the learning stages, and Rogan pointed out he doesn't train with a cage so that could have had something to do with it. Not with the KO but in general. And I don't know if it's just Cro Cop, but he didn't look into it. I don'tknow if that's part of his gameplan or what, but he seemed a little lost out there. I think Couture and Gonzaga will ctually have a better fight thn Couture would have had with Cro Cop.

That's what Couture said too--that Gonzaga was a tougher style matchup for him.
I bet Couture is actually a bit bummed that HE couldn't have been the one to take on Cro Cop.
Maybe he'll start to train with the cage. Hopefully he didn't get hurt too badly so he can come back.
I would say Matt Serra winning the welterweight title was a bigger upset though.

No way. GSP doesn't have anywhere near the mystique that Cro-cop has. I think the only people who thought this would happen is Gonzaga and his camp. Cro-cop has never been rocked like that. He's been bopped, sure, but never to one sided.

GSP took out Matt Hughes, who has to have the same mystique. Matt Serra was an average UFC guy that got a second chance from the reality show.
Also, the announcers really seemed to think that Gonzaga had a real shot--with comments like--he's a top level guy that never fought a top level opponent, but is ready.

Well, yeah, gotta sell the product. Gonzaga was pretty much unknown to the common fan coming into this. I know a few guys who've been following MMA for about a decade and they both called me up as soon as it happened, shocked. This could probably be the biggest upset ever.
As for Hughes/GSP/Serra, Hughes got cocky with GSP, and GSP got cocky with Serra. Still, none of them are not on the internet mark fanboy cult status level of Cro cop. The UFC brass must be fucking pissed. Cro-cop/Coutoure would have been unreal, and Mirko went and fucked it up. I just hope Gonzaga is not a flash in the pan.
I didn't see the PPV yet, just the cro-cop fight. I heard Andrei Arlovski's fight was boring.

Arlovski's fight was very boring. He even apologized in the post-fight interview.

There was two of them that dragged a lot. And actually Couture picked Gonzaga to win so someone else knew, but pretty much the shock of it is Cro Cop got KO'd with a Cro cop kick to the head not so much Cro Cop got beat. When Gonzaga got into the octagon, you knew he wasn't going to be some push over. But you didn't expect him to get a Cro Cop style KO on Mirko Cro Cop. And if anyone is more pissed about it than UFC it's Cro Cop, either he was out of it or really pissed cause all he said to Roigan after the fight was I don't know. Hopefully he gets back in there soon and doesn't go from some scrub to a legit fighter again and get his ass rocked.

STAR RATING (***+): Not long enough to be four stars, but it will go down as one of the most shocking and memorable finishes and upsets in MMA history. It is a must-see fight.
POST-FIGHT: Through an interpreter, Gonzaga said he's going to prepare to do the same thing against in a heavyweight title fight. He quickly shook hands with Cro Cop, who was on his feet (although off camera, so I'm assuming it was him). Couture approached him in the ring, said he impressed him, noted he picked him to win, and looks forward to competing against him soon. Rogan then interviewed Cro Cop. Cro Cop looked and sounded devastated and didn't even sound like he was promising another fight. Considering how hard he's taken previous losses, that's no shock.
RAMIFICATION: A Cro Cop vs. Arlovski fight to earn a title shot could be next. That's a money fight, because Cro Cop's past can't be ignored. Boy, did Cro Cop just blow a huge payday in a UFC Hvt. Title fight, though, and he knows that, too. So do UFC officials, who have to be devastated in a way that they lost the dream match on PPV. From a business perspective, they might really be second-guessing their decision to not give Cro Cop a cake walk. Then again, given the odds going into this, they thought they were. Wow. Just wow. What a couple months of UFC upsets. Needless to say, Gonzaga is a legend, but is he Buster Douglas - famous for a KO but never did much after, or is this a sign of a dominant heavyweight emerging? The latter seems more likely.

From the commentary before and during the fight, I don't think he's a Buster Douglas at all. You could argue they were trying to build a fight by talking Gonzaga up, but I don't think so. If anything, they would have built up Cro Cop more. I don't think they did.
Makes for an interesting rematch.

Well what do you expect them to say? This guy is going to get killed? This was supposed to be a tune up for Cro-cop. There is no way in hell they pit two big name guys up against each other in a free PPV.

They should have hyped Cro Cop, and not made it a main event--if that's what they wanted. Even your article mentions that this guy was much more than a tune up. If anything, Cro Cop looked like the tune up.

I think they should have gotten him and even bigger sucker to beat up on. This sucks, now he's gonna need to climb the ladder a bit more.

I wonder if he messed up his knee or ankle. My guess is he probably got lucky, since he was walking around.

Cro Cop will fight Arlovski and the winner of that will face the winner of Couture/Gonzaga

Which sucks, because Arlovski has been putting out some stinkers as of late. I think this will set Cro-cop on a mission now. I would not want to be in Arlovski's shoes.

I'd like to see a rematch eventually down the line with Cro Cop and Gonzaga. Gonzaga looks like he's pretty good, not some flash in the pan, but he got a lucky kick in, Cro Cop needs to train with a cage and keep his fucking hands up, cause the slow mo replay showed Cro Cop went to block his body first and couldn't get his hands up in time.
But I agree, Cro Cop is going to be nasty next time he fights, just to erase this loss if he can.

Does anyone else watch Ultimate Fighter regularly? This week's episode was hilarious. Two guys violated the rules by actually having a real fight in the house.

Yes, two assholes, and I'm glad they got booted off the show. Same goes for Lobster, another bum. The fight Cole and Louzon had was pretty decent. BIG BIG BIG fight this Saturday, and I can' wait. Liddell vs. Jackson!! Holy shit I'm amped for this! I love Rampage! He's so fucking funny. A lot is riding on this fight since it's actually making things like ESPN. You have the UFC's marquee guy in Liddell and a guy who could make a killing here with his antics in Jackson.

I think his name was Monster, not Lobster. Holy crap that fight was hilarious.
Last night, I also amused myself by counting the number of F bombs dropped by Dana White. There were over 20 in the show.
What's the story with Jackson? Was he straight from Pride?

Yeah, he's mostly been in Pride. He's awesome. He's lost a few bouts but it's mainly to guys like Wanderlei Silva and Sakuraba. He's a good fighter who is entertaining in this interviews and such. He would be a huge draw if he stays in the UFC.

Is this his first UFC fight?
Lidell is riding a high right now. He'll be hard to beat barring a lucky shot.

Yeah, but where did he make that name? Has he actually fought on a UFC PPV, or was it Pride. Don't get me wrong, I'm treating both as equals, but I'm curious. Has Jackson fought in the octagon?
The clip of him v. Liddell was in a ring.

He's been in Pride. He had one match in UFC, then hooped over. He's a pretty good fighter. Unless Liddell catches him with a clean shot, this won't be that easy for Chuck.

He has to be pretty good if he has a win over Liddell (unless he caught him with a lucky shot).
