Whoops. LOL
He was a bit bland. I like Burke though.

Terkay was goofy looking enough to where he turned heads. I thought Burke played off of him well, too. But he was really sleepy in the ring. And Angle leaving did not help him, the two of them had gone at it on the amateur level, it was bought up here and there, and I am sure they could have worked it into a fued that would have helped Terkay get a rub.

Rodney Mack and Jazz are gone as well. Mack was another guy who was mainly training talent (ECW) and Jazz was making sporadic appearances for that brand.

I was not a fan of Turkay as well..Sure looks like Vince is trimming the fat......Guess ECW will be gone sooner than later and they few big names and promising talent will get absorbed......

He did not do much, thats true. That said, I think TNA could get some use out of him. He makes a good second to someone, an enforcer type. And again, there is that Terkay/Angle connection.
ECW is NOT going anywhere. Believe that. Its still a money-maker for WWE AND Sci-Fi. In fact, WWE is contracted to keep showing it. They have no interest in closing it. These releases actually coincide with bringing in some new guys, including Monte Brown (Marquis Cor Von), Deuce and Domino, and some others to be determined.
Hardly any of the guys released were working TV anyway....

I'm surprised they released Turkay after pairing him with Burke. I thought they'd make a good tag team

I would guess they have other plans for Burke. On top of that, there is no tag division at all on ECW television.

Here's a funny one - he was actually on the list yesterday, and then came off. Only to come back on today. He appeared on WWE.COM as one of the released for about 15 minutes. Mike Knox too.....he's probably not long for the world then.

The following was issued on WWE.com today:
"As first reported by WWE Mobile Alerts, WWE has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstar Test (Andrew Martin). We wish Test all the best in all future endeavors."
This announcement only comes days after it was reported that Test was involved in a car accident on Friday and only a few weeks after he was suspended for 30 days for a Wellness Policy violation.

The following was issued on WWE.com:
"As first reported by WWE Mobile Alerts, WWE has come to terms on the release of ECW Diva Rebecca DiPietro. WWE wishes Rebecca all the best in all future endeavors."
Well, she was THE worst. And she wasnt all that in the looks department either.
There were longtime nagging rumors she was dating Batista. Maybe they broke up and he gave them the nod to let her go.

So much for any rumored London and Kendrick vs MNM at Mania match....Joey Mercury was released today. Drugs must have got him! WWE.com is reporting that WWE has come to terms on the "immediate release" of Joey Mercury this afternoon in Chicago IL.
Here is the complete posting:
WWE.com has learned that today in Chicago, WWE officials have agreed on the immediate release of Joey Mercury.

They did not even wish him well in his future endeavors...the "immediate release" thing was also pretty cryptic. This one apparently ended ugly.

Apparently there is a story going around which, if true, is pretty damn zany. Ended up with Stephanie McMahon in the hospital, and Mercury fired "on the spot." Apparently more is to come on this.
If the rumors are to be believed, Mercury went nutso when he found out that he and Nitro would not be on Mania, and he charged at Stephanie, "knocking her into the corner of a desk." He was fired on the spot, and Stephanie was taken to the local hospital to be checked out. Charges may be pressed.
The story has enough juice that some of this may have happened...we'll see.

It's too bad Triple H only has one good wheel or he would have broke him in half. No one lays a hand on the billion dollar princess besides Vince and Trips.

Sancho don't bother, MSB is looking foward to the HOF only, I repeat ONLY for Shatner. My 10 year old cousins have more of a social life than MSB.
That or he's taking the same shit Mercury was taking.

You probably fondle your 10 year old cousins, but that aside, you never know how these guys would do if the fights were real.
For all we know, Batista could be knocked around by Carlito.
