And then kicking him repeatedly while he was down, and making the story even better - he was wearing flip-flops while he was doing it.

Bart Gunn beating Steve Williams. That ruined Dr. Death's career.

Well, that wasnt a backstage fight....
Oddly, it ended up doing nothing for Bart Gunn, either, cause shortly after he was knocked out on his ass by Butterbean.

Stupid fight for Bart Gunn. Yeah, he was able to beat a non-professional boxer, but Butterbean was a pro. Gunn probably would have lost to a featherweight.

Well, looks like WWE may be settling in for yet another round of spring cleaning... Today the axe swung on two "superstars." Rob Conway is gone, as is Too Cold Scorpio (who only made a couple of house show appearances since going under contract a while back)
Conway was a decent talent, had a fantastic entrance song, but is obviously expendable. Saw a pic of Scorpio battling someone on a recent WWE Euro tour, and he looked fat and such. No need for either of them, although they were fine by me.

Well, Sabu is finally gone. Word is he showed up quite late for yesterdays taping, without his gear even, and was sent home. The writing had been on the wall, this was apparently the final straw in what had become a shaky relationship. I am glad he is gone. He stunk in the ring, and disgusted my wife.
Vito is also gone. I had to laugh, when I read that I was like, "holy Hell, I forgot all about him!" I totally forgot he was with the company. Poor guy lived his gimmick for months, wearing a dress in public, and he's shown the door.

That was such a dumb gimmick. He wears a dress. And that got him a push?
I forgot about him too.

Thats what the Torch is reporting. They actually called it a few days ago, saying he was probably finishing up Tuesday. WWE is throwing him a bone, no pun intended, as they are not afraid of pushing up his no-compete clause cause he is no hurry to go to TNA. He has money put away, wants to take a good amount of time to rest before doing anything, and apparently is NOT on bad terms, despite all the internet fodder.
So WWE is sending him home rather than jobbing him out, and that may very well be the end of him in the bigtime. Figure he'll be in TNA after the summer.

I'll miss RVD, you could always count on him to have at least a decent match. He gave Umaga the best match he had one on one a few weeks ago. I'm glad though, he'll have new guys to work with(AJ Styles vs RVD anyone?), maybe even one more go with Jerry Lynn for nostalgia sake. I'm pissed however cause it seems for every two good impacts, their ppvs fucking suck. So RVD is going to be hurting on PPV but it's good he's not on bad terms, he's too big with the crowd to shut the door on him cause people pop for him every night. And while it may have been a shell of what it use to be, we can't say RVD never held the ECW title so I'll be toasting RVD's run in WWE and an upcoming successful one in TNA.

Eh, no he didnt. Cena had the best match out there with Umaga.
As to TNA, I dont watch their PPVs, but this last one got high reviews all around.
RVD is no great shakes. Dont think he will be going into TNA and hopping into Kurt Angle territory. He can have fun on the undercard with Sanjay Dutt.

Umaga and Cena was a gimmick last man standing match. In a regular one on one it's Van Dam hands down.
And no way he's undercard in TNA. He can have really good matches with AJ Styles, Christian, and def Somoa Joe. Rember his match with Bam Bam Bigelow in ECW? I know Joe is better than Bam Bam but RVD will work really well with those guys and will too over to have him in the undercard, mid card or main event without a doubt. They need more stars to sell main events and who better than a deflecting RVD? He'll be so over.

I like the idea of RVD in TNA. But I'd like to see the Dudleys back in the WWE. TNA is actually a good presentation. I like the angles for the most part, even the guy who does the takeoff of the Macho Man.
I wonder how Savage feels about that.

Savage LOVES it. Its been reported he called Lethal to praise it, and his brother Lanny Poffo was on a wrestling radio show a few days ago talking about how much Savage enjoyed it, and does not mind the parody cause "its a big table, and he wants to make sure everyone gets their slice of pie."
RVD sucks. He is better fit for the circus, with the rest of the acrobats. He is nothing but a gymnist. And from what I am reading TNA is not all too enamored with him, as he is a noted malcontent, and as one-dimensional as they come. We'll see.
Balls, enough with the Dudleys. HHH hates them, the WWE hates them, they let them go, would not even bring them back for ECW, and they are boring beyond belief. In fact, TNA is in the process of kicking around ways to break them up, cause they are "stale."

If Savage loves it, that's awesome. I think it's great, and it's a cool tribute.
What is Savage doing with himself now? Does he have any interest in some sort of comeback? It would be funny to see him and Lethal together for a bit.
I can understand the stale feeling of the Dudleys, but I still like them. It's not like they are Albert, Test and Goldust.

The axe continues to swing...
Scotty Too Hotty gone. Shocking, most thought he had a job for life. He always survived these cuts. Nick Mitchell, formerly from the Spirit Squad, gone. And, in what I think is a big surprise...
Ariel....GONE!
Ariel had quite the following. She was fun to have around.

Ariel was awful, but seeing how you put RVD down I can understnd why you'd be mistaken with Ariels"abilities". As for RVD being a malcontent, not having creative feedom and being held down by Triple H and Steph, I'd be unhappy and want out too. He made life hard for him after he got arrested, as soon as he fucked that push up the clock was running, but how fucking long did the push take to come? He's huge wherever he goes, the fans fucking love him and Jeff Hardy and their "circus like acrobatics" are hell of a lot better than the same formula match and no talent hacks getting pushes handed them while guys like RVD, Christian, Jeff Hardy etc all bust their ass and are lucky to hang on to the IC blet longer than a month and a half. That's why those guys will always be over and 9 times out of 10 will have one of the best matches on every card.

ehh RVD hasnt been any good since the Invasion angle.same old shit ever match shitty punchs, pointing to him self, filppy stuff. RVD cant really work a main event WWE match.looks like its TNA for him, but will it really matter? will he make an "IMpacT"?what will we get another se of cherographed dance like matches with MR JL? fuck RVD he's as stale as The Dudleys

I thought RVD was sent home and they decided not to use him and job him out on tv? I know he didn't lasdt night but are they keeping him around for ONS? If so, then why even let Sabu go yet? Wait till after One Night Stand. It's a bit silly to me.

That was never the story. Word going around was that many believed he was free to go. I made mention it was NOT a bad split between both sides. Him sticking around till One Night Stand is no shocker. Its obvious he will be leaving after that, possibly in an injury angle.
Sabu was FIRED. He was insobortinate. He showed up to the arena late and WITHOUT HIS WRESTLING GEAR. He was asking for trouble. You dont keep idiots around. You may find that out soon enough, when you enter the workplace.

I won't find that out cause I will always be my own boss sir.
I understand with Sabu, but he's alays good for a table spot at ONS, it's bad timing.
As for RVD, doesn't free to go mean sent home, told don't worry about it, no use jobbing you out on tv so no hard feelings? This is an upside down world and you are talking crazy talk.

Ariel was hot. I hope she goes to TNA. She's pals with Socal Val, so I'm sure that's a safe bet.
Black Machismo is one of the funniest gimmicks I've seen in years.

Its stuff that has been done too many times before. Wrestlers pretending to be other wrestlers is old, to be blunt. From Austin doing Hogan and Bischoff in ECW, to Big Show doing a gimmick for months a few years ago where he was pretending to be all kinds of guys, to DX pretending to be the Nation and NWO pretending to be Horsemen, to Striker doing it on the Indy scene for YEARS (including a spot-on Macho Man from all acccounts) its cheap heat.
Thing is, its funny, but it gets old fast (ok, Machismo, we know you can do a good Savage...can you give us something we HAVEN'T seen?), it reminds people how much better the characters were in the past which is not a good thing, and it pigeonholes a guy into never-neverland. He will never compete for a real title, for instance.
On the wrestilng boards even the biggest Machismo backers are weary of it, and word is TNA will soon be phasing it out, Thank God.

Nash repackaged Jay Lethal as a Randy Savage impersonator called 'Black Machismo'. It's very funny, but as Tom said, it will get old soon. If they cut it off at the right point, which never happens in wrestling, it will remain a very funny TNA snippet.

Big Dan Rodimer has been sent packing. Word making the rounds is he has a recent "Wellness Policy" violation under his belt, and now is not the time. And even though I thought he was charismatic as Hell in the one season of Tough Enough I paid any attention to, it did not translate to current day, and everyone says he was a boring slug in his recent endeavors.
Quite a fall for Big Dan (who was going under the managable name of 'Dan Rodman' in developmental and dark matches) as last year there was talk of interjected him directly into main events out of nowhere.
