In light of Balls running Superhero baseball up there this morn, here is the boxscore of a supposed game some superheroes played against some supervillians. I am including some of Balls' analysis at the bottom of this, as he reflected on the game at the time.
Top of the first: Wonder Woman strikes out. Robin doubles to left field. Kid Flash sacrifices Robin to third. Batman singles, driving Robin home. Green Arro lines out to short. R: 1, H: 2, LOB: 1 Bottom of the first: Dr. Polaris fans. Tattooed man lines out to third. Felix Faust singles to center. Luthor singles to short right, Faust stopping at second. Weather Wizzard dribbles a single to third, loading the bases. The Joker grounds out to short. R: 0, H: 3, LOB: 3 SECOND INNING: Top:Huntress flies out to center. Plastic Man pops out to first. Black Canary doubles to left. Superman strikes out. R: 0, H: 1, LOB: 1 Bottom: Chronos strikes out. Matter Master grounds to short. Sportsmaster slams a HR. Dr. Polaris grounds to second. Superman flies to left. Wonder Woman lines out to second. Robin strikes out. R: 1, H: 1, LOB: 0 Bottom: Joker bunt singles. Chronos doubles to right. Joker stops at third. Matter Master sacrifice flies to center, scoring Joker, and moving Chronos to third. Sportsmaster homers again. Dr. Polaris triples to center. Tattooed Man sacrifices Polaris home. Felix Faust fouls out. R: 4, H:4, LOB: 0. Score: Supervillains 5-4. FIFTH INNING: Top: Kid Flash doubles to right. Batman bunts for a hit, Kid Flash to third. Green Arrow walks, loading the bases. Huntress walks, forcing in Kid Flash and advancing Batman and Green Arrow. Plastic Man grounds to short, and Batman is forced out at the plate. Black Canary fouls out. Superman singles to left, scoring Green Arrow. Wonder Woman flies out to deep center. R: 2, H: 3, LOB: 3 Bottom: Luthor singles. Weather Wizard bunts safely. Luthor to second. Joker grounds to third, forcing Luthor. Chronos grounds to short, forcing Weather Wizard at third. Matter Master lines to short. R: 0, H: 2, LOB: 2 Superheroes 6-5 SIXTH INNING: Top: Robin flies to left. Kid Flash also flies out to left. Batman singles to center. Green Arrow strikes out. R: 0, H: 1, LOB: 1 Bottom: Sportsmaster strikes out. Dr. Polaris strikes out. Tattooed Man fouls out. (Efficient inning for Superman on the mound, who had been roughed up so far). R: 0, H: 0, LOB: 0 Superheroes 6-5. SEVENTH INNING: Top: Huntress doubles ot right. Plastic Man bunts safely, advancing Huntress to third. Black Canary fouls out. Superman singles, scoring huntress, moving Plastic Man to third. Wonder Woman grounds into a double play. R: 1, H: 3, LOB: 1 GET UP AND STRETCH!!!! Bottom: Felix Faust grounds out to short. Robin strikes out. Kid Flash grounds to short, forcing Black Canary at home plate. Batman walks, driving in Superman. Green Arrow singles to right, scoring Wonder Woman and Kid Flash, but is caught off base and tagged out. R: 3, H: 3, LOB: 1 Bottom: Luthor walks. Weather Wizard grounds to second, forcing out Luthor. Joker bunts safely, moving Weather Wizard to second. Chronos sacrifices Weather Wizard to third, Joker to second. Matter Master singles to leaft, scoring Weather Wizard. Sportsmaster doubles, driving in Joker, but is tagged out at second after missing tagging first base. R: 2, H: 2, LOB: 1 FINAL SCORE: Superheroes: 11 Supervillains: 10 I'll just do my own game analysis. First of all, there's an error in the box score, which lists Batman at 5-5. He was actually 4-4 with a walk. I was considering naming Batman MVP for his perfect day and driving in 2 runs, but I'm going to have to go with Green Arrow, who drove in 4 runs and went 3-5, but also got a clutch 2 out hit in the 9th. I could be persuaded to give the award to Batman anyway, because Green Arrow did make a base running gaffe in the 9th, which caused the end of a 2 out rally. Not sure why Batman was batting 4th. The way he hit, which included bunting, he should have been hitting lead off. The villains also seemed to have their best player make a base running gaffe in the 9th, which ended the game. Sportsmaster clearly screwed up, but then again, without him, the Villains would be in deep trouble. Sportsmaster hit 2 HRs, and drove in 5 of the 10 runs. Not sure why he was batting 9th though. He should have been 3rd, 4th or 5th. Well played game though. Exciting. No errors, so the defense was crisp on both sides, and both sides were playing good fundamental baseball, consistently bunting and sacrificing. Well done.

Looking back at it, it seems that Sportsmaster went to the SidDaKidd school of baserunning.

Interesting rule question. Sportsmaster is out. Because he missed 1st base, he shouldn't even get a hit. Wouldn't the run scored by the Joker be taken off the board? The final score should have been 11-9.

Balls, whats with the lifesize pic of Zuvellas head in the Yankee section? I find it amusing that after you bake people like Laura and Liz like a cake for their pizza-box sized pics here and there, you go and put up a gigantic pic yourself. Can you size that damn thing so it does not resemble wallpaper when I visit that section?

It's not that big of a picture, but because you whined, I actually found a better one. Just don't confuse it with an ad.

His lifetime batting average was .222. He does not deserve a receptionist.
I remember once we were at some dumb Met game leafing through a program, and calling the real estate people pictured in there, telling them their hair looked stupid and stuff. We also called to report a fire way off in the distance.

Someone should photoshop an axe in Tom's right hand in the Goat Picture....kinda like how people used to draw on their Pee-Chee Folders.

I think he's crying cause he just realized he left the red circle nose that would have completed the ensemble at home.

I think some smushy faced dogs are good looking...even quite "handsome" - particularly boxers. Bulldogs are OK too. Those Sharpie's are even tolerable.
But those pugs...the smushed face, the wide-set bug-eyes, the snorting, and their little bodies....the just reminds me of ugly little annoying trolls....like the one from the movie Cat's Eye that was trying to kill little Drew Barrymore.

Boxers are my favorite dogs. I like ugly dogs. I had a chihuahuapom (I just coined that term. Her dad was a chihuahua and her mom was half chihuahua and half pomeranian.) She was black and tan and basically just looked like a chihuahua.
When my parents got her for me for my confirmation gift they were told she was old enough to be taken home but she wasn't. She was like three weeks old and completely bald. She looked like a little naked mole rat for a while.
She had one tooth that stuck out on the bottom and if she tried to tuck in the tooth her tongue stuck out a little bit.
I loved that dog and was devastated when she passed away at age 16 two years ago.

Every time the subject of dogs are brought up here, you mention how much you love dogs.
Make your husband get you a dog!

I think some smushy faced dogs are good looking...even quite "handsome" - particularly boxers. Bulldogs are OK too. I have a Boxer (Zelda) and Bulldog (Bo). One year for Halloween, I decided to dress Bo and Rocky (dead Boxer) as Batman & Robin. I ordered their costumes online and to my dismay, the damn costumes were too big. Tried to taper them with duct tape but to no avail. Rocky fell out of his Robin costume and the Batman cape was the only thing that lasted on Bo for their walk.
