Nope. That was the Carter era actually. Of course, with all the socialist spending on the way, we will all be hanging on a chow line.

If is wasn't for the Chappelle Show, we wouldn't know the proper words to the Good Times theme song.

It's "hanging in a chow line."
Here are the official lyrics for opening and closing themes.
OPENING THEME LYRICS
Good Times. Any time you meet a payment. - Good Times. Any time you need a friend. - Good Times. Any time you’re out from under. Not getting hassled, not getting hustled. Keepin’ your head above water, Making a wave when you can.
Temporary lay offs. - Good Times. Easy credit rip offs. - Good Times. Scratchin’ and surviving. - Good Times. Hangin in a chow line - Good Times. Ain’t we lucky we got ‘em - Good Times.
CLOSING THEME LYRICS
Mmmmmm Just lookin' out of the window. Watchin' the asphalt grow. Thinkin' how it all looks hand-me-down. Good Times, yeah, yeah Good Times
Keepin' your head above water Makin' a wave when you can
Temporary lay offs. - Good Times. VOICE-OVER spoken by John Amos: Good Times was recorded in front of a live studio audience Easy credit rip offs. - Good Times. Ain't we lucky we got 'em - Good Times.

That's Chris Brown?
He looks like a pussy.
Rhianna should have been able to take him.

I have said this before, but when Whitman Mayo was playing Grady he was just a couple of years older than I am now. He filmed Sanford and Son while he was ages 43-47 (although many would think he was 63-67)

Looks like Tom is choosing a Honus Wagner Week. I like the top picture because it looks like Wagner is actually taking a cheap shot on his opponent and kicking him in the ass.

Why is it that in every picture of Honus Wagner playing, he looks old as fuck?

I actually saw footage of him being interviewed, I think on Prime 9 shortstops. He was as craggly as ever. He looks like he was carved from rock.

I like the shack in the back, I could swear it's the same little league field around the block from me. They got some good Cinna-stix in that shack.

What made you put that book at the top? I laughed because Andrew has that book and I actually read it to him the other day, but he never has patience. He just keeps turning the pages.

I enjoyed that book. There is even a "twist at the end" which you probably know about already. Stumbled upon that one going along with Dana and Emma to a reading for kids at Borders about a year ago. The kindly old man had a pile of books he was reading from, and that one was a keeper.
When I was just thinking of something random and harmless to throw up there, the book hit me in the big gut. So there you go.

So that pic on top, of Bryce Florie, I was at that game. I got great seats from my office, box seats right on first base and had a great angle of the incident. The first base umpire was so freaked out at what happened that he called Ryan Thompson out at first (throw from third where the ball deflected) even though he was safe by a whole step. Jw

Sort of on topic, a little off - you should all remember when Mike Coolbaugh got beaned by a line drive, and subsequently died. A new book is out, regarding that incident, and the aftermath - including the trouble the bat-swinger is having dealing with said incident. Ill be nabbing it.

I'm really surprised college pitchers didn't die by the dozens, with the ball flying off aluminum bats. Not that I want this to happen, obviously, but it's got to be terrifying having one hit back at you, especially with most of these guys in poor fielding position after their deliveries.

I have some major logistic concerns with the pic on the top of the board, although I put it up myself. Lets see if any of you notice them.
