That's the thing--Mr. Kennedy is very popular right now. He may be too popular to stay in the doghouse very long. I feel bad that we didn't get to see him in his hometown of Green Bay Wisconsin.
He would have had the best face pop of the night. I think it would be cool if he was a face there and a heel everywhere else, kind of like Shane Douglas in Pittsburgh.

LOL! STAMFORD, Conn., November 2, 2007 – In accordance with its Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy, WWE today suspended the following performers for violations: Chris Mordetzky (Chris Masters) for 60 days (second violation) and Harry Smith (DH Smith) for 30 days (first violation).

They should fire both of them--especially Davey Jr.

Can't say i disagree with Masters, he's awful. I'm not going to sit here and say Bulldog jr is garbage, he hasn't shown much, but that's part of the reason you keep him. Still not sure if it's going to be hit or miss with him. I say miss, but still need to be patient and see.

You'd think the idiot would know better, especially as drugs led to his fathers demise. As to Masters, I'm amazed he still has his job.

Interesting...from the wrestlingobserver.com
Lead story on Atlanta news tonight could be major embarrassment to WWE and drug policy Fox 5 in Atlanta tonight had as one of its lead stories, an item about a man who moved into a home he had just purchased from a WWE wrestler (whose name was not identified in the story).
He found who shoe boxes filled with steroids and Growth Hormone in a crawl space in the wall along with a copy of the wrestlers current contract and a memo regarding changes in te dress code.
They announced they weren't releasing the name of the wrestler who just moved until they spoke with him first.

Well, i was poking around the Torch message board, and one guy said that as a drug user himself, he does not find it odd that someone would either forget where their stash was, or not even remember they put it there in the first place. Also, I guess with all the pressures of a move its something that slipped the mind.
The story has been picked up by USA TODAY so it could end up being problematic for the fed.

In a somewhat related note....
Andrew "Test" Martin arrested on DUI charges Posted on 07 Apr 2008 by Mike Landau
Former WWE and TNA star Andrew "Test" Martin was arrested in Pasco County in Tampa.
Martin, according to the Tampa Tribune, was stopped on State Road 54 near Gateway Boulevard by an off-duty police officer after she spotted a "reckless vehicle" driving north on Interstate 75, a highway patrol report states. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper responded to the scene near the Saddlebrook Village West subdivision just after 10:30 a.m. and noticed Martin's eyes were glassy and bloodshot and his speech was slurred, according to the report.
The report also mentions that he was released on $500 bond late Sunday night.

And, according to one of the wrestling spyware havens, and corroborated by Atlanta television, the idiot is...
MIKE KNOX!
Grumble, grumble. I am like, the only Mike Knox fan there is. Someone on the Torch board reminded me of this a few weeks ago, going so far as to say "i dont even think Mike Knox is a Mike Knox fan."
How funny is it that Kelly Kelly's real life boyfriend (Test) is in the news for DUI, and her old "storyline boyfriend" Knox is in hot water now cause of this? I blame her.
Friggin Mike Knox. Just when he was getting his deserved push too....

LOL at Test. LOL at Knox, and LOL at "psuh". You mean the same push he's had since the new ECW relaunched?
Who cares, these guys both suck. Test is far too rigid, and Mike Knox is as bland as flour.

More on this, from the Observer...
Mike Hettniga (Mike Knox) is the wrestler in the story reported last night about the family that moved into a house sold to him by a WWE wrestler which had both steroids and Growth Hormone left in the attic has gone national in many outlets today. The key to whether this is a significant story is: 1) When he got the steroids. I can't imagine you'd leave stuff around for years, but if it was prior to late 2005, it's well known that most of the roster was doing steroids at the time. 2) When the move took place. If the move was in the last few months, you have not only have an issue where the wrestler would likely have to be suspended, but if it was someone who didn't fail a test, it would be a major black eye to the policy. If the move was prior to July of 2007, even though it would be against policy and likely a suspension should result, we already have a ton of evidence the policy was corrupted in some form before that time frame from the Signature investigation.

I would!
Anyhoo, looks like WWE, for now, has Knox' back on this. Apparently the house was a nest for Knox and some other developmental talent at the time.
More from the Observer...
WWE responds to Mike Knox's name being in the Georgia steroid report WWE has released a statement saying that four different pro wrestlers lived in the Locust Grove, GA, home that the steroids were found in, saying only one of the four is still with the company. They said the performer (who would be Mike Knox) has denied to both the police and to the WWE that the items found belonged to him.
The steroids were found in one of two shoe boxes. The other shoe box had pay stubs and a contract for Mike Hettinga, which is Knox's real name.

Ah yes, some other guy had the same habit of stashing things in a shoe boxe in the crawl space. Now it all makes sense.

I agree with Mrs. Brown. Knox would be more trouble then his worth by keeping him.....Just restart pushing Stevie instead..and TOm if he got the boot you still always have Tommy Rich to wax poetic about....LOL

So WIlliam Regal gets 60 days for his 2nd violation to the "wellness policy." That sorta explains last night. Its up on WWE.COM now. Regal has had his troubles. Bad timing for him. They seem to have been behind him. Having read his book and of his battles with drugs, its sad, especially as I am a fan.

WWE issued the following on their corporate website today. Found this on PWTORCH.COM's message board.
World Wrestling Entertainment® Suspends Performer June 9, 2008
STAMFORD, Conn., June 9, 2008 " In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended James Yun (Jimmy Wang Yang) for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s policy.

Not suprised by this one bit. He's so over and obviously really good, he has to know he's never going to get a bigger push unless he himself gets bigger. That's assuming this is steroids which I don't think has even been released yet. Not to condone the use of smaller guys using enhancement drugs, but if WWE changed it's style a bit and allowed guys who may not be so big, but can wrestle, be champion, I think less of these kind of violations would happen. That's not to say he's right for what he did, or if that's even what he did. Just my reasoning if it is.

McMahon always liked the giants. But he did have a time period where he went with smaller guys. HBK certainly was a smaller champ. His run didn't bring in the ratings, but there were a few others. How did Jericho do?

Folks, lets not assume this was a steroid violation. The wellness policy covers recreational drugs as well.
