Fuck the Eagles. It was a good weekend for PA football. Penn State loses and the Giants beat the Eagles.

Holy Crap....this Burress crap has already bitten the Giants in the ass....as his replacement, Hixon, just butchered a Loooooooooooong pass that Eli practically gift-wrapped and placed in his hands.

"“Like everyone else, I'm still disappointed that a receiver didn't honor Plaxico Burress last weekend by catching a touchdown, then pretending to shoot himself in the leg with the football and limping around. This never would have not happened if Chad Johnson was still alive.”"

Yeah, and they laughed to the Super Bowl title last year, and a division title now. LOL. My Bavaro jersey tasted its first defeat. That sucks. I hate the Eagles. I hope Knuckles threatens to beat up one of their fans and not follow through.

He's too busy fighting with Tone. Although it is quite comical.

A joke? I would hardly called 10-2 a joke.
Jim Zorn on the other hand......
" hope Knuckles threatens to beat up one of their fans and not follow through." --- I thought that was The Devers's gimmick?

Hey, if you're going to make the playoffs, at least show up to fucking play. That was a disgrace today. Eli looked beyond pathetic. Who cant pull off a 4 inch quarterback sneak anyway? Hey, nice coaching challenge by Coughlin there, way to burn a timeout.
Terrible, your season was a waste.

All seasons that don't end in championships are wastes. I just hope the Eagles lose. Anyone but them.

With the draft coming up in a couple of months, I really want the Giants to draft kenny Brit if he's available with the 45th pick. The man lives in Bayonne which is huge. Shaun O'Hara grew upi in Hillsborough. When he came over to the Giants from Cleveland he has proven to be one of the best centers in the league. Players play better when they play close to where they grew up. That is a fact.
Thank you

That's just one example though. There are plenty of players that play near where they grow up and suck. It's hard to name too many examples, because players like that aren't that memorable. In baseball, I can think of one perfect example--Paul O'Neill. He didn't SUCK in Cincinatti, but he struggled there. Part of that (though not all) was due to being too local. Of course another part was Lou Piniella using him wrong and trying to force him to be a power hitter, but still, I think that being a local product isn't that important.

Balls or Tom. Can you please change the name of this thread to "The NY Football Giants thread"
I plan on going to the draft with my co-worker. I am working on tickets through my friend who is the assistant quarterbacks coach for the Jets
Thank you

No real need. I think we can all figure out that this thread is for the NY Football Giants.
May they return to the Super Bowl next year.

I made a Hotel Reservation today at a Miami Airport Hotel for the Superbowl next year. If they don't make it I can cancel the reservation up to 24 hours prior to my arrival date. The room rate is $139 per night. A bargain since they normally go for $400 plus a night for the Superbowl. I have reservations at other Hotels in Miami also. I also made my car reservation for February 5th for 3 nights.

Unfortunately I have to watch Dancing with the Stars starting March 9th. My wifes birthday is the same say and one of my favorite football players is on it. The real L.T. Lawrence Taylor. I wonder if Capone will watch this.
